Once Lalisa was clean and had her haircut, she actually felt a little bit better.
«Unnie, do I look okay like this?» the Thai asked unsure of the way shorter cut. Her extreme long hair were now a little over her shoulder and she felt weird.
She had never went for a haircut since she landed in South Korea, always chosing to do it herself with some random scissors she found and the results weren't exactly great. When she worked on her daughter's hair though, she almost could pass as an expert.
«You look stunning Lisa. You looked good even before, don't misunderstand me. It makes you look a little more... Free? That's the only thing I can think of.» Jisoo said dismissing the hairdresser
«Will Ireshi like me like this though? She always loved my long hair because she could wrap them in her hands when cuddling, or sleeping or playing...»
Jisoo smiled «Why don't we go ask her?»The Thai tensed up, a sudden worry taking over her. How could she face her daughter all clean and cute looking when she ignored her for three whole days? Ireshi must have resented her. And she totally understood her.
Jisoo placed her hands on Lisa's shoulders «Hey, she's not mad, trust me. I told you, she's a smart little girl.»
Lisa hesitantly nodded and stood up, grabbing Jisoo's hand for support «Can you hold my hand please?»
Jisoo nodded smiling widely «Of course I can. Whatever you need. Are you ready?» she nodded «Somi told me they would be in her playroom and if they're not, they're most likely at the pool.» the younger nodded again and allowed Jisoo to guide her around. It was a little ridiculous to Lisa how she suddenly felt so fragile and small, how she needed Jisoo's guidance. How she was solely depending on Jisoo. What had happened to her? Where was the strong, independent Lalisa? How could she allow herself to breakdown and shutdown?
Every step they took, Lalisa's nervousness was growing. She felt horrible in having "forgotten" her daughter. That was an unforgivable mistake in her opinion. No matter what Jisoo said.
«Unnie..» Lisa whined a little «I-I don't feel very good... I need the bathroom.»
Jisoo stopped and looked at her «You can't avoid meeting your daughter. Trust me. She doesn't hold it against you. If I'm wrong then you can throw up on me if you wish.»
Lisa wrinkled her nose in disgust «Unnie! That's disgusting!»
Jisoo shrugged «That's how sure I am of my words. Come on.»
