Reminiscing

Auburn POV

I remember the first time I met Grayson. God how he hated me. The first time I spoke to him, he just stared at me with those dark brown eyes making me feel like I was a deer in headlights. He was intimidating. His every move was anticipating, yet on the field, he was as if he was a fucking angel. He had never gone to a color guard competition until the year I showed up here. I noticed him there and he was on his phone most of the time. The solo song, Pretending by Alec Benjamin, was the song played for my solo, and the duet between me and Mason. I'm reminiscing now, as I lay beside him and turn my phone on at 3 A.M. He's laying on his stomach, his arm sprawled out towards me. I know he wants me close, but I can't. I'm not ready for that. I love Gray, but I don't know if I trust him the way I used to.  My trust has been broken and I wish that he hadn't done what he did.
