FREEN'S POV

Freen had been unconscious for a whole day, leaving her gang members worried sick. When she finally woke up, she immediately looked for Becky, only to find that she wasn't by her side.  Freen ripped the serum from her arm and swung her legs off the bed.

"Becky... Becky, where are you!" she cried out, her voice filled with urgency.

She immediately left the hospital and hailed a taxi.  The rain was coming down in sheets, but she didn't care.  She had to get to Becky's house.

When she arrived, she rang the doorbell.  Becky's mom opened the door.

"What are you doing here, Freen?!" Becky's mom demanded, her voice sharp.

"Tita, please... Payagan mo Naman akong makausap si becky?" Freen pleaded, her voice trembling.

"Umalis kana, layuan mo ang anak ko. How many times do I have to tell you to stay away from her?" Becky's mom said, her voice laced with anger.

Tears welled up in my eyes, but I forced them back.  I felt weak, my heart aching with pain.  But I needed to talk to her.  I needed to hear those words directly from Becky's mouth, even if it hurts.

"Tita, please, Maawa ka. Bigyan mo ako kahit ilang minuto para makausap siya, and after this, I won't disturb her again," Freen said, her voice filled with desperation.

Becky's mom sighed, her expression softening slightly.

"Sige! I'll let you this time. But the moment I find out that you're still talking to my daughter, you will never see or talk to her again."

I immediately bowed to Becky's mom before rushing inside, leaving me standing outside the gate.

BECKY'S POV

"Freen is outside and wants to talk to you!" my mom said, her voice filled with a warning.

I felt nervous.  I didn't know why Freen had come to our house.  All I knew was that she was in the hospital.  But I was relieved to see her and quickly grabbed an umbrella to go outside and meet her.  But my mom grabbed my shoulder before I could leave.

"Put an end to whatever is between you and that girl, Becky!" she said, her voice stern.  "If you don't want anyone else to know about it. Because if you don't obey what I said, I will send you to the States to study there!"

My shoulders slumped.  I was about to go out the door, especially when I saw Freen, who was already soaked from the rain. I wanted to hug her, but I couldn't.

FREEN POV

"What are you doing here, Freen? Weren't you at the hospital?" Becky asked, her voice laced with a mixture of concern and confusion.

"Pwede ba kitang makausap? Even just for a little while, please?" I asked, my voice trembling.

"About what, Freen?" she replied, a hint of curiosity in her tone.

"Hindi mo Kasi ako kinakausap, so I came here myself. Is there a problem between us?" I asked, trying to sound calm. But she only sighed in response.

"Freen... I'm sorry!" she said, her voice filled with a mixture of sadness and regret.

I could feel the sadness in her eyes.  I was getting nervous because I knew I was going to be hurt by what she might say to me.

"Para saan, Beck?" I asked, my voice laced with concern. "Is it because you didn't come home?" I forced a smile at her to show that I was okay, even though it was painful to see her like this. "It's okay, Beck," I reached out to hold her hand, but she brushed it away. I stared at her, my mouth agape.
