FREEN POV

The morning light streamed through the window, rousing Freen from her sleep.  She had to get to school.  Hanna was still at her house, under the watchful eyes of the gang, a precaution after the recent events.  Freen quickly showered and changed into her uniform, her movements sharp and efficient.  As she organized her backpack in the living room, Ken was already there, gathering his belongings.

"Freen, I have something to give you," Ken said, his voice low.

Freen sat down beside him, extending her palm.  "What's that?"

Ken took an envelope from his bag and handed it to her.  Freen's brow furrowed in confusion as she looked at it.  "Is this money, Ken?" she asked, a playful smile on her lips.

"It's important to you, Freen," Ken said, his expression serious.

Freen's smile faded as she opened the envelope.  Inside were photographs.  Her eyes widened as she recognized the man in the pictures.  "It's him!" she whispered, her voice tight with anger.

Ken nodded, his gaze meeting hers. "What's your plan now, Freen? ang mapapayo KO Lang sa Ngayon, don't rush into anything.  Let's think about our next move."

Pnam, who had been silently observing the exchange, stepped forward. "They have a shipment tomorrow, according to my source.  If you want, I can monitor their every move."

Freen's face hardened, the playful smile replaced by a grim determination.  This was the day she had been waiting for, the day she would confront the man who had caused his brother's death.  "I can't forgive them!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with a simmering rage.  She stared at the picture in her hand, her eyes burning with a fierce intensity.

"Be careful when you spy on them, Pnam.  He's not the only one.  They have many members in their gang," Freen warned, her voice low and dangerous.

"I understand, boss Freen," Pnam said, her eyes meeting Freen's with a steely resolve.

Just then, Hanna entered the room, her voice bright and cheerful. "Good morning madlang people!"

"Good morning, Hanna," Pnam replied, her voice surprisingly devoid of sarcasm.

Hanna looked at Pnam in shock.  "Wow!  I think someone has already eaten spoiled food here, and she's suddenly nice to me?" Hanna teased, her voice dripping with playful disbelief.

Pnam simply rolled her eyes and said, "Can you shut up for now, Hanna?"

"You're so fake, tsk!" Hanna retorted, her voice laced with amusement.

Freen shook her head, knowing that their bickering was about to begin.

"Freen, let's go!" Erin called out, her voice filled with excitement.

They quickly left the house and got into the van.

"Complete naba tayo?" Freen asked, her voice calm but authoritative.

"Present," Kade said, her voice firm.

"I'm here!" Erin said, her voice filled with energy.

"Me too," Johvie said, her voice a little too cheerful.

"I'm here," Ken said, his gaze meeting Freen's.

"Always here," Pnam said, her voice confident.

"I'm here too!" Hanna said, her voice filled with a playful defiance.

Freen smiled, leaning back in her chair.  "Let's go!"

As they passed Freen's house, a car pulled up, blocking their path.  Pnam immediately opened the door and helped Freen out.
