"Boss, what should we do with him" the guy with an ugly scar on his face threw water on Creighton's face. They took him to an abandoned building far from the central city. It was an old factory for producing cheese.
Creighton's head was smashed in, and he also took a brutal beating to the face and abdomen. They almost broke his right leg, to the point he could no longer stand as they lifted him up and tied him to the chair. He slowly opens his eyes, with a swollen eye on the left and a busted lip. He could barely see himself, yet he could feel the dripping of water mixed with his own blood from his hair through his lap. He whimpered and wobbled his head. His left ear was bleeding. Overwhelmed by nausea brought by his stomachache, he feels sick. He could hear the three guys talking about what to do with him whether to kill him and leave him there or throw his body far away without a trace. Then, he suddenly mumbled.
Antonio looked at him. He pulled his hair up for them to see and hear what he say.
"I can't hear you. What did you say?" Antonio whispered to his ear with a cigarette in his mouth. The two thugs smirked.
"Plea-se, my, my son ne-eds me." He mumbled as he grasped his breath.
Antonio didn't know that he had a son. He was surprised to hear it. He pushed his head harder as the chair fell down with him. Creighton fell unconscious again.
"So, what are we going to do with him, boss?"
"Throw him back to the mansion gate where he lives," Antonio instructed as he threw the cigarettes beside Creighton, lying on the floor, unconscious.
"Are you out of your mind?! We were instructed to kill him. Let's just throw him on the Castle River."
As soon as Antonio learned about Creighton's son, he started having images of his own son in his mind. For whom he's been fighting for, all these years, he may be a bad man, but he knows whatever he's doing, he's doing it for his son. He can't steal a father from a son, only because Lord Douglas said. He is a killer indeed, but he has little morality left in his soul.
Antonio grabbed his shirt with his fist, "I said to throw him back to the mansion. Do you get it, or do you want me to put a bullet in your head?" seethed.
"Yes, boss" The thug anxiously agreed and stared at his other companion. They lifted Creighton. Untied him and put him back inside the car. Antonio droves way back.
"After this, we will escape Kentidale for good," Antonio told the two thugs, and they took the money that Lord Douglas Ashton had paid and agreed.
They kicked Creighton out of the car in front of the Ashton mansion. Creighton was unconscious, barely breathing.
