Surviving in Colorado (TBP fanfic)

The Interview

      After hearing the radio station, Reid is going to try really hard to talk more than he usually does. Reid can't help but feel a little mad and a little jealous of his sister and brother, because they are able to just walk right up to anyone that is asking them questions and be themselves.

      He is very quiet around reporters, interviewers, or anyone of those sorts. He really only talks when he is one on one, like with a fan. But he won't be like that around Fizz, the DJ. Not this time. When they reach the door, the DJ Reid heard earlier welcomes them.

      "Hey guys!! What's up! Welcome to our state! Now I know you have been here before, but still, welcome!"

      Kimberly does the thing Reid wishes he could. "Hi Fizz! It is very nice to meet you! And thank you so much. We are happy to be back, and we can't wait to go site seeing tomorrow!"

      He laughs and says "Now that is what I should have said, welcome back! And that is epic! Where are you thinking of going?"

      Neil pipes up this time. "Well definitely over Lookout Mountain and Pike's Peak. But know of any others? Or maybe even a good camping spot?" Fizz is kinda surprised by that.

      "I knew you were staying here for some time, but camping; how cool!"

      Kimberly looks at Neil and says "Yea Neil, when did you come up with that idea and when were you planning on telling us?"

      "Well I was just thinking, why not?? We all wanted to go exploring the state some, so why not??" Reid is surprised too. But he loves the idea, and he says so.

      "I love that idea Neil! Sounds like a blast! We have to Kimberly!" She is taken aback by Reid's enthusiasm, but she gives in.

      "Well okay boys. But you have to find the spot and all the gear. We are NOT taking the bus!" She scolds while pointing at them. Fizz can't help but laugh.

      "Well now you have something unique to talk about on air don't ya?? If you need help, maybe even ask our fellow Coloradans for some help! They could tweet in their answers to you." He says happily.

      "You weren't supposed to make it easy for them Fizz!!" Kimberly laughs. "But great idea. That will make it easier! Thank you!!" She says back just as cheerfully.

      "You're very welcome! Now I think..." he cuts himself off as he looks back at his little team. "That we have everything set up. Why don't you all come sit down."

      Kimberly leads and sits in the middle. Neil sits to her left, making Reid cross all the way to the end so he can sit on her right. They all pull on the head phones that are there and grab the mics, pulling them closer to their faces.

      Fizz takes his seat and throws his stuff on, then looks to him. He gives a thumbs down on one hand and a thumbs up on the other. Kimberly, Reid, and Neil give thumbs up, making him laugh.
