There in the clearing their band is hard at work. They look like ants, dressed in their black uniforms as they run about. They scurry this way and that; all working independently, trying to get everything set up. They are running into a few problems though. It must be too dry, as the lighting isn't working properly.

"I guess it really is hot around here." Reid thinks to himself as they walk through the middle of this chaos slowly. Reid almost gets clobbered by one of their guys as he runs around. Reid grabs his arm and says "What's the problem??"

The guy, named Harry, looks up at Reid and first apologizes.

      "Reid I am SO sorry!"

Reid just shakes his head and says "It's cool it's cool! Just tell me what's wrong. Maybe we can help."

Harry looks back up and says "It isn't hot up here, just really dry. I take it these poor people haven't had rain in forever! It is messing with our equipment. But no worries, we'll get it."

Neil looks over now and says "But we have played in places a lot dryer than Denver. Why are we having problems now?"

Harry looks over to Neil now.

"Well I think it might also be the altitude. After all we are in the mile high city. But also, we came prepared for that dry weather in California, but we didn't for Denver. Guess we learned our lesson?" he finishes timidly.

"Guess so huh?" Neil says kinda bummed. He hates seeing these guys have so many issues.

"Well guys, just work on it I guess. We don't perform till 4." Kimberly says exasperated.

"Okay Miss." Harry says as he turns to leave.

"Let's go boys." Kimberly says as she waves them towards her. But again, she's already off and running.

They run to catch up, and that tiny piece of his hair flies into his face and tickles him. He ignores it as he tries to keep up with his sister's fast walk. He has no idea how she even knows where to go, there are so many hallways in this arena; it's crazy! She didn't even tell them where she was leading them. Finally she stops in front of a door. She opens it slowly and it creaks.

"Jeez man." Reid thinks to himself. Inside they see that the room is very spacious, but it is also pretty bare.

"Hope you were paying attention to how we got here boys; this is the meet and greet room." Kimberly says as she breathes in, trying to regain her composure after the fast walk here.

"Wait, what?? We weren't paying attention, cause we were trying to keep up with you!" Neil hollers at her.

She turns around and gives him a dirty look and mutters.

"Dang you two!! Well hopefully you will find it alright!! After we're done on stage, we will put our stuff up and come in here. They also expect us to come here on our own. I won't be here to 'escort you' two boys." She says with a laugh at her own wit.

Neil rolls his eyes and says what Reid was thinking. "Well then we have a problem. Don't know bout Reid, but I have no idea how we got here."

Kimberly lets out a big sigh, and says "Well then, I guess pay attention when we head back, okay?"

They just nod and say "Okay Kimberly." She smiles at how kind they are.

"Such true gentlemen they are." She thinks as she walks away. She does take their complaints to mind, and she walks slower so they can try to get a grasp on how to get to the room.

When they make it back to "the main" part of the hallway that leads up to their make shift stage, Kimberly says "Boys, go get your stuff. We are about ready to go on; it's already 3:45!"

Reid and Neil run off to get their stuff, while Kimberly gets her mic and ear piece from their sound guy. The rest of their band is already in place, all they are waiting on is the three of them to come and do a quick warm up. Reid and Neil race back, get their ear pieces, and come join their little team. They do a real quick warm up to get their adrenaline going, and then they get to their places.

Reid and Neil fall into place on either side of Kimberly. She straightens up her back and pushes her shoulders back, then gives them a smile. "You ready to play Denver?" They nod back as the curtains go up and the drums start to beat.
