"A-are we going to die?" A young lady whimpered silently across the night as Timon grimaced. He and 16 others were thrown into cages by the brutes. As much as Timon wanted to stab the bastards, he was far outmatched.
He was no spartan. Just a poor tough bastard. He always thought the next jump would be the last. That it will finally come to an end. Time and time again, he was force by some unholy luck to push on even if he was alone. Hundreds die yet it was always him who survived.
Now however, he truly knew he was going to die, but somehow, Timon could not find the peace in it. He always longed for the end, to be reunited with his wife but now... now he just wanted to tear the bastards apart.
Hearing the reports was one thing, seeing it in person made him completely livid. Children being hunted down for sports, father's and mother's being cattle like animals. It disgusted Timon to no end. Now all he wanted was the chance to stab the bastards in the eye.
Timon had waited and waited and waited for days on end. As much as he wanted to tear the bastards apart, he needed a weapon, needed a metal, anything really. If it can hurt them, then it will do. And finally, after 3 hellish months, he finally have it.
It was a broken rusted pipe, but it will have to do. It has to because Timon could no longer wait. He needed to wait now. Wait for that golden opportunity. The cage door rattled loudly as screams of panic erupted from the terrified civilians.
The brute angirly shouted something. Timon could not understand nor did he cared. He needed to bide his time, to wait for that moment. However, Timon did not have the time when the door suddenly opened.
"N-no! No! Let go of me! Let go!" Timon saw the young lady being dragged out from before. All the way screaming and crying loudly to be released. "Mom! Dad! Help me! Help me!" "Iris! Please take me instead! Not my daughter please!" Timon saw the weeping face of the girl, the pleading eyes of her parents... and the disgusting grin of the animals.
No, Timon could not wait. He could not! His blood burned incandescently from within, demanding to move now or die! Anger and sorrow intermingled as one, disttiled into purposed hatred. The brute screamed at the two elderly in rage. Cursing them disdainfully and for a moment, it came.
The moment of opportunity. Timon was not sure if he really was cursed with unholy luck, but he gladly takes it. Lunging from the blind angle of the beast, Timon mustered all the strength in his muscles and stabbed the brute in it's ears. It was a small hole, a small gap, but it was also the softest weak spot other than the eyes.
The brute roared, screaming in agony as Timon continued to stab over and over and over again in its ever growing ear canal. The moment unfortunately passed, however, as the brute manages to shake off Timon as it ran through the walls.
The beast's hide was so tough that it barely damages it's fur, Timon on the other hand was reeling in as the walls scrapped off his skin. Timon hurriedly tried for another blow, but the brute was already on him. Its agony turned into rage as it relentlessly chased after Timon.
Although he manages to dodge several lethal strikes, the brute manages to outpaced and lands a blow directly into Timon's hip, shattering his pilvis. The hardened odst tried to move but it was no use. His body and mind screamed in agony this time as the brute grabbed him by the throat, and lifts him from the ground.
Timon tried to stab the bastard in the eye, only to realize he dropped the pipe. Although he was dying, Timon refuses to beg for his life as he relentlessly punched the brute in the throat, though the bastard only found it amusing.
