4. ENCOUNTER

Sallie Jezelle De Clare's POV

Somewhere in Blackwood mansion.

Did I do the right thing by fleeing from my engagement? If I had brought to light my feelings to my parents maybe they would have understood me or maybe not. Guess I will never find out. I'm a bad daughter. I should have stayed and got married to the Duke Zane. All these thoughts are running through my head. I can't handle this anymore!

Suddenly I just can't breathe. My hands started to shake violently. Tears are flowing from my eyes like a waterfall. I try to stand and go to my room. But as I stand up my legs wobble and I fell. I bring my legs to my chest wrapping my hands around myself attempting to stop this. I guess I'm having a panic attack.

No! Shit Sherlock. I thought you were having sex. Dumb! We are having a panic attack. My conscience mocked me. It is sassier than me.

I started to shiver slowly and my whole body felt cold. The world seems to be just too brutal for me to deal with it. I felt like I don't deserve to live this life when I'm being this selfish. I try to think of different ways to die when suddenly I see a blurry figure coming toward me. Whoever they are they are calling out to me as I try to calm down when suddenly I'm engulfed in a warm embrace.

They rubbed small circles on my back and they are saying something but I can't hear whatever they were speaking. Suddenly all I see is a pair of chocolate-like brown eyes and I go into a dreamland.

Caleb Blackwood POV

I was passing by the corridor when I heard a female crying. I go to check on it and I found Tyler's friend in the middle of the room shaking and crying. I don't understand what is happening with her. I slowly go near her when she didn't react I wrapped her in my embrace. I tried calling her name and asking her what is happening with her. But she did not respond. I think she can't hear me. Suddenly she looked into my eyes and passed out in my arms.

I take her to her room and called Tyler to take care of her as she is his friend.
"What did you do to her, bro?"Tyler asked as he hurried into the room. He seems way too anxious about just a friend or who knows she might be one of his girlfriends of his.
"I don't know what happens to her I was passing by when heard her crying and then I went to check on her. I called her name but she didn't respond to me and then she fainted." I told him whatever happened to her.
"Ok bro, thank you for bringing her to her room," Tyler responds with a side hug. He has always been the biggest hugger.
" Alright, I'm going now p take care of her and take her to the hospital."I started to head to her room. I hope she will be ok.

Sallie Jezelle De Clare's POV

I slowly started to open my eyes. I see that I'm in my room. But the real question is who bought me here?

You teleported yourself don't you remember? Dumbo Tyler bought us here who else. My conscience mocked me as usual.

I try sitting up when Tyler came and helped me sit up.
" Thank you for bringing me here." I thank him with a weak smile. After every panic attack, I feel drained and all I need is a chocolate milkshake and sleep. The two favorite things of mine.
"What happened to you?" Tyler asked me with concern laced on his face. Now I feel bad for making him anxious.
" Can we please go out for a milkshake? then I will tell you." I ask him with puppy eyes.

Who can resist these cute green doe eyes? My conscience chipped in, but she is not wrong puppy eyes always work on everyone. It always worked on Liam. Suddenly I remember how Liam will take care of me after every panic attack.
