Barnaby's POV
I woke up in D'arcy's bed groggy with a head ache. Oh yeah! Last night we had a party and we were really drunk. We had so many shots!
I looked to the right of me to see my beautiful, soon to be, fiancé. I'm gonna propose soon! It's a beautiful gold ring with a blue paw with a red yellow blue and orange paw pad. My paw! Symbolising that she is married to me! She looked gorgeous sleeping. Her mouth slightly open, ears slightly droopy and whiskers twitching. I slowly and steadily got out of bed, down the stairs, checked my pockets if i still had the ring, found it, put it back inside and made breakfast. Simple porridge with a drizzle of honey, more on the side if she wants more. I placed them on the table and snuck upstairs, back into her bedroom.
"D'arcyyyy, D'arcyyyy" i whispered into her ear.
She turned in her sleep, slowly opening her eyes.
"Mmmm, good mornin" she groaned as she got up. I followed her down the stairs and she sat at the table in the kitchen.
"For me?" She questioned
I nodded as she took a spoon full, mostly honey.
"Mm!" She hummed as the sensation gazed her taste buds. She kept on eating as i made myself a bowl of honey nut flakes. We ate beside each other quietly.
"Hey love?" I asked, she looked towards me "i was thinking, can we bake today?"
She nodded repeatedly since she couldn't talk with her mouth full. Should i propose today? Or should i wait? The questions swarmed through my head like a hive of bees. My thoughts stopped to a halt when i felt her touch on my shoulder, poking at me.
"Yes dear?" I answered. She finished her last mouthful and stated,"i need to go shopping, i love you!" As she jumped out of her chair, ran upstairs,got dressed and ran out of the house.
"WAIT WHAT FO-" i tried shouting but she was already gone, oh well.
She came back later with a small bag full of ingredients for some brownies! We started to make the batter as she smeared some on my nose. I licked it off then started to have a food fight with her. She threw flour at my face so i threw some cocoa at her. It got in her nose and she started to sneeze and sneeze. We finally placed em in the oven and waited. We cleaned ourselves up and got dressed. By the time we were done, the brownies formed! We took them out and began to feast. The first piece was hers, it was gooey in the middle! Delicious. Mine was gooey as well!
"Mm! Delicious!" I stated as i ate my piece in 2 bites.
"Yup!" She agreed as she ate hers too. After that i asked her if we could go to the 'homeville park'
We walked another 20 minutes and sat down on the third bench down. Hmm, where's the ice cream man? He's probably busy. We sat there talking and watching the ducks. We stood up and D'arcy dragged me to the flower patch. The beautiful lavender, scorching yellow dragon snaps and white,withering dandelions. It was gorgeous!
"Its pretty but, not as pretty as youu~" i teased as she shoved me slightly while giggling at the stupidity of my flirting. A couple hours go by and it started to get dark. I was feeling romantic, im gonna propose! We got to her house after the sprint and ran inside.
"Phew! That was so close" she said
"I know! We were nearly soaking!"
It was raining harshly.
"Look, D'arcy, you've been in my life for only 4 month but i can't wait anymore! I love you, now please" i pulled out the ring "will you marry me?" I asked with hope.
She was crying! Hands over her mouth, wide eyes and trembling legs.
"YES BARNABY! OF COURSE I WILL!!" She shouted as she tightly embraced me. I let go of her and slid the ring on her finger. It fit! Thank god, that would've been embarrassing. We cuddled all night and kissed under the moon.
Wally's POV
WHAT?! THEY'RE FIANCÉS?! NOO! My plan is failing! Its only been 4 months, hasn't it?
"IT'S NOT FAIR!!" I shouted as i banged on the windowsill. Home shook in fear,scared of me.
THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME! I LOVE HER NOT THAT STUPID BLUE OAF. I'M MARRYING HER NOT HIM. HE DOESN'T DESERVE HER LOVE. I DESERVE HER LOVE. I WANT HER.
*creak, creeak knock slam knooock* Home said
Translation: look, you've gotta calm dowwwn
"CALM DOWN? CALM DOWN?! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT ANGER IS HOME! U DON'T LOVE HER LIKE I DO, NOBODY DOES ONLY ME!!" I screamed.
I saw Barnaby and D'arcy look over at my window. I ducked, avoiding their gaze. I need her and i will get her.
