Chapter Eleven-Late Night Talk Shows

"Hello?" Lee asked into his phone. We were sitting in my apartment, watching Game Of Thrones. It was a lovely evening. Calm and quiet.

"This is." He politely said. He looked down at me and smiled.

"Put it on speaker." I mouthed. He smiled and shook his head 'no'. I rolled my eyes.

"Oh. Let me ask Gwen." He said. I piped up and looked at him. Lee put his phone to his shoulder and looked at me.

"Who is it?"

"Jimmy Fallon." He smiled. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped. Jimmy Fallon is my favorite and Lee knows that. "Well, his manager. They are calling to ask me, or well us, to be on the show. You doing anything next week?"

"NO!!! I'M NOT NOW!!" I exclaimed looking at him. Lee smiled and chuckled.

"Gwen and I would love to meet Jimmy and be on the show." Lee smiled. I grabbed my phone and texted Jamie and Candy in a group message.

Me>Jamie,Candy: guess who the next guess is on the tonight show!!

"Alright. We'll see you then. Bye." Lee said and hung up.

"Next week. Thursday." Lee smiled and kissed my cheek.

Jamie,Candy>Me:Jamie; NOT YOU?!

Me>Jamie,Candy: YES ME!!!

"Yay!!!!" I smiled. "What will we wear? It has to match." I smiled.

"Wear your red sparkling dress and I'll wear a black suit with a red tie." Lee said.

Jamie,Candy>Me:Candy; What?!

Me>Jamie,Candy: listen, I gotta go. I'll let you all know when. Bye!

"I like it." I smiled.

The day of our interview came. I was more than excited!! Lee was told that I could bring two guests to sit in the audience. So, I of course picked Candy and Jamie. They were excited too!

"Come on! Gwen, we're going to be late!" Lee said, looking at me in the mirror. I was still curling my hair. I had already done my makeup and put my dress on. Lee was already.

"I'm sorry. I just want to look good." I said, fixing the curls.

"Gwen, you look perfect." Lee said.

"You're just saying that cause you're my boyfriend." I glanced over at him.

"We have to leave in 20 minutes." He said. I quickly put in a pair of my mother's earrings, a necklace Jamie gave me for my birthday, and a bracelet Lee had given me. I put on some lipstick, then ran to the closet to get a pair of black pumps. Then, I ran to my room to grab a sweater cardigan, I put that on.

"Alright. Ready?" I asked, looking at Lee.

"Do you have everything?" He asked, holding on to my shoulders.

"Yes. No. Wait. My purse."

"It's in the car. Let's go, Gwen." He grabbed my hand then pulled me to his car. We both got in and drove to where the tonight show was filmed.

"Are you ready to be interviewed?" Lee looked over at me with a grin.

"A little."

"Are you nervous?"

"Of course!" I exclaimed. Lee pulled into a parking spot, grabbed an umbrella, and we both got out. Lee opened the umbrella (it was raining a bit), and hid our faces. We walked up to the door and went in. Two people recognized Lee and lead us to our dressing room. It was a pretty big room!

"Are we the main guests?" I looked up at Lee.

"Gwen, we're the only guests."

"Pardon?" I asked with a little shock on my face. He smiled and kissed my nose. Moments later, there was a knock on the door. Lee got up and answered it. He poked his head in the room and smiled.

"Yeah. Sure. Come on in." Lee smiled, pulling the door open more. I looked up from my phone and saw Lee standing with Jimmy Fallon.

"Wh- it's... What?!" I smiled and stood up.

"Gwen, this is Jimmy. Jimmy, this is my girlfriend Gwen Stacey." Lee smiled, coming over to my side and wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Hi. It's an honor." I smiled, shaking Jimmy's hand.

"And to you too." He smiled and kissed my hand. "I'm just here to introduce myself and say hello." He said, looking at Lee and then me. Lee and Jimmy talked for a minute and then Jimmy left.

"You did good." Lee smiled.

"Lee, I'm dating the fraking Elf King. Of course I did good." I smiled. He looked at me and rolled his eyes. After 20 minutes, it was our que to go wait by the stage.

"I got the chance to talk with our guests before they come out. Both of them are very kind and very pleasant. Three New Yorkers on the same stage. We might want to be careful." Jimmy laughed. "And here we have our guests for the night, Lee Pace and his lovely girlfriend, Gwen Stacey!" Jimmy said. The curtains pulled open, Lee grabbed my hand and we walked out to the couches. The crowd went crazy for Lee. Lee lead me over to Jimmy and the couch. Before he sat down, he hugged Jimmy. I did the same and sat next to Lee.

"Thanks for being on the show." Jimmy smiled at us.

"Thanks for having us." Lee smiled. I looked at the audience and went pale. There was a lot of people. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even know that Lee and Jimmy were talking to me.

"Isn't that right, Gwen?" Lee asked, nudging my side.

"Sorry." I chuckled nervously. "I... I..."

"Oh. It's alright." Lee smiled and kissed the top of my head.

"Are you two going to get married anytime soon?" Jimmy asked.

"Eventually. Maybe after a little while of dating." I said before Lee had the chance to speak.

"How did you two meet?"

"We ran into each other... Literally!" Lee smiled a me. This smile shown concern and passion.

"Yeah. And you ruined my blouse!" I smiled. Jimmy asked us a few more questions before going to the goofy questions.

"Now, Lee, did you get to keep that wig?" Jimmy asked, referring to Thranduil's wig.

"No. I did not. But, I did get to keep my sword and elf ears." He smiled at Jimmy.

"Do you role play at all?"

"What kind of role play are talking about?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at Jimmy, then at Lee.

"Any kind."

"No. We don't." I chuckled.

"Alright. We're going to take a quick break. And when we get back, Lee, Gwen and I will have our own Lip Sync Battle!" Jimmy said. I about passed out when he said that! I didn't know we were doing a game!! I glared at Lee. He looked at me and shrugged.

"Alright." Jimmy leaned over and explained how we were going to do the game. We each got to pick a song, and basically lip the words. I picked Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus.

After the game ended, I lost big time Lee won and Jimmy got second, Lee and I went to a bar for a really late dinner. Then we went back to my home for sleep time!!
