lydia riley was the only daughter of gale weathers and dewey riley. after the massacre last year, chad, mindy, lydia, tara and sam decided to move to nyc to escape their past.
lydia and her mother never really talked, lydia lived with dewey her whole life. gale left when she was 3. she never really knew why, after her father died she realized it was probably just to keep her safe.
things were going great in nyc. lydia was the most popular girl at blackmore, which was impressive since she's only went there for 5 months. it's mostly because of her spunky personality she fakes when she's around people. deep down, she was just an insecure little girl who wanted her dad back.
she never talks about dewey to anyone, not even her friends. she hates even thinking about what happened to him, talking about it makes everything worse.
months after moving to nyc, she met chad's roommate, ethan landry.
they became best friends, and eventually started liking each other. they didn't tell each other that though.
everyone noticed it, nobody knew what she saw in ethan. to them he was just a weird dorky guy, but he meant so much to her.
