the door swung open and quinns body practically flew out of the room, straight into anika causing her to fall. lydia and anika screamed, quinns body slid off of anika and lydia helped her up. tara ran out with chad, mindy, lydia and sam looked up at ghostface. "anika, we gotta go!" lydia yelled at her, expressing real fear. she pretended she was reliving last year which helped her acting. anika was still processing. "oh, fuck!" mindy exclaimed, right after that ghostface stabbed her in the arm. lydia screamed and backed up. ghostface took anika, she was trying to fight him off. but ghostface started choking her. lydia made it look like she was looking around for something to throw at him, but she just ended up hiding. ghostface held anika up by her neck and threw her against the wall, stabbing her right after. anika was screaming in pain. lydia covered her mouth, trying not to cry. her friends are gonna die because she agreed to this.

sam hit ghostface against the head with the knife holder thing, lydia got up and held anika up by her arms to support her. they all ran into quinns room, sam was holding the door with lydia. then sam told them to go check the bathroom. there was a dead body in the bath tub, lydia and mindy screamed, then ghostface found them. lydia tried to hold the door closed, sam helped her. ethan stabbed her through the door, in the arm. he didn't know it was her until she screamed. "fuck!" she screamed and backed away from the door. sam and mindy put a dresser in front of the door so he couldn't get in, but he was still trying. lydia ran over to anika. "anika, stay with me okay?" she said. anika nodded. "we're gonna be fine, we'll get out of here i promise!" anika winced in pain.

sam's boyfriend danny was at the window. he was passing a ladder through it. shit, maybe this plan wouldn't go as we thought it would. "lydia, go first!" sam demanded. fine by her, she wasn't dying today anyways. lydia went through the window and onto the ladder. she gasped at how far the fall was but she kept going, the ladder was shaking but she got across. "mindy!" she yelled. "i can't, i have to hold the door! i'll get anika you go." sam trusted her and went next, slowly. she hesitated, seeing the way down made her even more scared. "i'm losing a lot of blood!" mindy held her wound. "say something more positive!" anika cried. sam almost fell off the ladder, when she got close enough to the end danny pulled her off. lydia hugged her. "thank god you're okay!" it looked like lydia was about to cry. sam nodded. "come on, mindy!" lydia yelled. she stared at the couple, crying to each other. "no mindy, no!" anika yelled. "i'll be right behind you i swear." mindy agreed and gave her a kiss. lydia thought for sure mindy was gonna fall, considering how much blood she lost. everyone was yelling at mindy. danny pulled her in. lydia hugged her. "anika!" mindy yelled. anika was last, she was the only hope lydia had. if she didn't die, this plan they had would be a fail. "i can't do it. i can't do it.." anika cried. everyone was yelling at her, as they did everyone else. anika was going the slowest, eventually ghostface got in the room. lydia gasped. everyone stared at him, frightened. "anika you have to move right now!" mindy yelled, crying. ethan put his knife in the wall. lydia was confused. he started moving the ladder. jesus, he's so stupid. lydia thought. he moved it again. anika was screaming, still trying to move. ethan moved the ladder up and down. "anika you have to make it!" mindy screamed.

"mindy, i don't wanna die!" the girl on the ladder cried. mindy put her hand out, trying to grab anika. ethan kept moving the ladder nonstop. this was gonna be one of the worst deaths lydia had ever seen. anika couldn't crawl on the ladder anymore. "anika give me your hand." sam called out, putting out her hand. maybe she wasn't gonna die. "i got you, i got you!" everyone tried to hold on to her. anika screamed, her body was tilting off the edge of the ladder. ghostface just kept moving it and she wouldn't stop screaming. but she did fall off the ladder, she screamed the whole way down, hitting her head on a dumpster.

eventually, anika hit the ground and died a tragic death.
