I couldn't believe Yuki! I was once again on the snowy bench by the lamp post. I growled in frustration, and I stood up abruptly. I threw down the parasol, and stormed into the woods behind me. The tall trees loomed above, snow laden branches reaching out to snag onto my red coat. The snow crunched as I wandered through the forest, expecting Yuki to jump out at me any second. Hooting and the flaps of wings, turned my head towards Tickles. He hooted and flapped around the trees, stopping to rest on my shoulder. Another scroll was attached to his leg.
"Is this how we communicate now?" I yell angrily into the woods, which answered with cold and white silence. I untied the scroll from Tickles's leg, and read through;
Dear Himi
Well, like Medio is gonna be the bird, Ginny is gonna be our lightning bolt.
Love Yuki your invisible but smart and handsome friend.
I felt slightly enraged. Invisible? Smart? Handsome? Ginny was a lightning bolt??? What game was Yuki playing? I storm back the way I came, only to find trees and more snow covering the way from which I came. I turned frantically around, seeing snow and trees, even my footprints were gone, and Tickles.
"Yuki?" I yell, the silence consuming my words into even more stillness and quiet. I sense the presence of someone else, but when I turn, I see no one. Just me and my conscience. The woods seemed to have a sinister feeling to it now, they looked darker and more eerie.
"Yuki! Is this a joke?" I snap into the now foggy woods, "Its not a very funny joke, sorry!!!" No answer, and I begin to panic. SNAP!!! A twig snaps behind me and I turn to see a caped figure, slightly concealed in the shadowy woods. My heart was in my mouth, and from no where, came a depressing and gutting feeling in my heart and stomach. I felt miserable, and lonely, just by looking at the figure. Then, a voice like the crackling of fire and the crunching of gravel, sounded as the figure stepped from its concealed hiding place.
"I, am Desunoto."

Himi woke up, startled and freaked out being comprehension. The figure and the sinister look of the woods lingered in her mind, and even the thought seemed to consume her with fear and for some reason...guilt. Perhaps that was ignited from awaking, without even making sure that Yuki was alright. She felt her stomach flip over, and she struggled to get out of the twisted quilts of her bed. Standing erect, she turned to stare out her window, and fell back screaming when a white haired boy poked his head out at her from the outside.
"Sup Himi-" Himi grasped his cloak and pulled him through the window, ignoring his protests when he knocked and collapsed onto the floor. Footsteps were already pounding up the stairs, so Himi shoved Yuki into her cupboard, hissing
"Zip it snowboy!" And she attempted to look as casual as possible when her dad charged in with a rolled up newspaper in his hand threateningly. Himi winced, deciding that her dad would've only been useful for fighting mutant flies.
"Honey, what happened?" Demanded her dad, his robes swishing around as he looked around. Himi's mind whirled.
"It, was such a lovely morning!!! It was...so beautiful I had to scream with joy!!!" Stammered Himi. Her dad stared long and hard at her. Then finally, shaking his head and muttering about "growing up issues" and scratching his head, he left, closing the door behind him. Himi could breathe evenly now, and she waltzed over to the clothes cupboard, and opened it. Unfortunately, Yuki was incredibly unbalanced, so he fell out abruptly the moment the door opened, and he fell with a thud on top of Himi, and to the carpeted floor.
"Gee, what was with the greeting?" Groaned Yuki, looking down at her, his weight on her hips practically suffocating Himi.
"Me!!! You're the one who was sending messages, and I met Desunoto. Thanks for leaving me there alone with him, Tickles was no better." She tried to indicate her discomfort, but Yuki remained in his awkward position above her.
"I wasn't in your dream yet, I didn't know he was there. I was at the school." Himi groaned and slumped her head to the floor. There was silence, then Himi grumbled.
"Better get this day started then, huh." Yuki stood up, placing his hand on her stomach to help himself up. When they were both on their feet, Yuki pressed excitedly,
"So, do you like the owl?" Himi allowed a beam to swallow her face.
"Yeah, his name is Tickles."

When Himi saw Ginny at school, she knew something was different about her friend. Her straight and long hair, was frizzy and her eyes had a spark in them that Himi had never seen before. The second Ginny glimpsed Himi and Yuki, dragging Medio along with her, she came up to the pair.
"Wanna race?" Asked Ginny, no "Good Morning" or anything. Himi snorted, slightly muffed about being asked to race her best friend first thing in the morning. But Ginny's voice stated that "No" wasn't an answer. They lined up at the start of the race track, far from the main school building and the two boarding houses. Yuki and Medio, lilac eyes still intact, held their hands up in the air.
"On your marks!" Yelled Yuki.
"Get set!!!" Screeched Medio.
"Go!!!!!" Before Himi could even step over the line, Ginny sped off so fast, she was just a blur of the school uniform racing against the white snow and grey sky. She seemed to do 5 laps off the entire school grounds in 5 minutes. Himi could only stare at her friend when she skidded to a stop in front of her, her face pink with joy and exhilaration. Himi stared wordlessly at Yuki, who only winked and arrogantly smarted,
"Our little lightning bolt."
