Chapter 32 The Third Death

Yuki felt his breath get stuck in his throat at the sight of his lover's best friend die. Screaming at the top of his lungs, he raced out the hole in the wall to where Desunoto had fallen. Frost immediately followed him.

Medio staggered to her feet and slowly walked towards the motionless body covered in blood and charred flesh pieces. Himi stood and left the now whimpering baby in the arms of her dead mother. Like she seemed to realise the evil of her father.

The 2 girls knelt beside the bloody mess that was once their best friends. Fizzy brown hair now covered in frozen blood, skin paled and cold. The only recognizable thing about Ginny was her brown but glazed eyes.

"He must die." quietly stated Medio.

"For sure." replied Himi.

Meanwhile, Yuki and Frost stood looking down at Desunoto who lay in the deep snow. Desunoto was breathing haggardly, his wound from Yuki's ice spike bleeding.

"Well...aren't you going to kill me?"

Yuki looked at Frost. "Together Minty?"

"As always Lil Bro."

In sync, an ice spike and 2 swords plunged into Desunoto's muscled body. The hardened body made a ripping sound like cardboard being cut by strong scissors.

 Desunoto was magic, so his death took a lot longer than Medley and Ginny.

He stared up at the two frozen and hatred filled faces. For the first time, he felt self pity. His evil, his cruelty, his actions now resulted in him dying without one kindly face watching over him as he died.

He stared at his first born. He searched for any sign, even a smudge of sympathy. But all he found was a hatred deeper than the ocean, disgust wider than the universe...and many more things unbearable for any father to see his own son hold against him.

'But I guess that's my fault.' he thought.

His golden eyes closed, his smirk faded and his chest stopped heaving.

"Funny isn't it," muttered Yuki, "a man who tortured us for years, took only a few seconds to be killed and die."

"Hm...how does the name Sun sound to you?"

"Huh?" Yuki looked quizzically at his brother.

"For my sister."

Yuki realised he didn't want to talk about his father. "It sounds nice...I guess."

"You guess?" Frost pulled his swords out of Desunoto with ease and they disintegrated into nothing, "this is my sister's name we are talking about. It's quite important."

He walked away without looking back at Desunoto even once. Yuki cast one slight look, before following after his brother back to his castle. Then, he snapped his fingers so that Desunoto's body flew behind them limply.

"What's that for?" asked Frost.

"We should get rid of it. We don't want a necromancer obtaining him."

"Ah, I guess you are right."

Stepping back into the destroyed glass ballroom, they walked towards their mourning lovers and the sound of a wailing baby.

"Allyn!!!" Frost ran to the baby who lay in the arms of Medley. Yuki carried Ginny's body to him followed by Himi and Medio.

"Allyn?" asked Himi throatily.

"In Gaelic, it means 'Bright'," he replied, and turned to Medio, "Medio. Are you hurt?"

"No. Frost..." she rubbed her red eyes and along with Allyn, they hugged.

Yuki held out his arms and Himi ran into them. His hair resumed it's natural white blonde and his eyes became steel blue once more. Himi breathed in his sweet smell. Yuki placed his head on top of her blonde white hair.

"Yuki, what are we going to tell everyone about Ginny? Her parents..."

"...I know you're gonna hate this but," he looked knowingly at Frost who sighed and nodded, "I think we should erase everyone's memories."

"What??? Are you crazy??? Make them all forget about Ginny???" cried Medio clutching onto Frost's sleeve, "Frost don't let him do it!!!!"

"Love I agree with him. No one must come to know about our world." Frost replied quietly, prying her fingers off his sleeve to hold them to his lips.

Medio's eyes wavered, tears ready to spill. Himi was no different, staring shocked at Yuki's audacity to present such an idea.

"But we know..."

"We can't afford more to know." Yuki replied. Himi prayed he would suddenly burst out laughing and cry 'It's a joke' and start running from her furious glare. But his face remained serious.

"Medio being pregnant, how about that???" demanded Himi. "Frost can just hide Allyn in your world."

"I'm sure Medio could...tell them she did a one night stand." mumbled Frost.

Medio looked horrified. "No way!!! My parents are the happy-go-lucky type. But they made me a solemn oath that they'd disown me if I ever did something like that!!! It's against our family traditions. And I-" Medio began to sob, "everyone would be so mean because of it. I hate people despising me."

Himi threw a pleading look at Yuki. His face remained serious, and Frost looked away from Medio's face. Allyn began to whimper once more.

"Yuki..."

"My mind is made up Himi. Everyone but you and Medio from the human world will forget Ginny. If you don't like the story of a one night stand, then tell them she got raped for all I care."

Yuki stormed off, leaving Himi to stare after him in despair.
