Chapter 10

-1st day of Comic Con, Lauren's POV-

Currently back at the AH panel waiting for it to start. Clare and I haven't met up with the guys just yet. We have been looking at all the awesome things they have here. Although once this is over we are going back stage to met up with them, grab lunch, finish off for the day at comic con, then i think we are going to my place, well mine and Clare's place, for dinner, play video games then they are going back to there hotel.

Clare and I are talking at our seats at the AH panel when I see an all to familiar face, one i never wanted to see again. I hope he didn't see me.

"Lauren you alright, you look like you have seen a ghost?" Clare said.

"What do you mean everything is fine..

"Lauren..."

"You remember how I told you about Zander? His here. I haven't talked to him since the prom proposal to someone else. And I'm still not ready to talk to him."

"Did you ever really got over him? I mean you kind of just distracted your self from the problem. You never confronted it and talked things out. You never really gave yourself the chance to get over him. Maybe you should go talk to him so you can get closer on what happened that day and finally fully get over him."

"What are you talking about of course I'm over him. I like Ryan remember?"

"Yeah, but that's different.."

"How is it different? You had a crush on Michael and now your dating him. Explain to me how its different."

"Just talk to him!"

"NO!"

"GO!"

"Have you seen the latest go? Its really good. My favorite has to be the one where Geoff hides a sticker in one of the cases and they are all rushing to find the sticker. I forgot what number it was."

"Lauren...."

"What?"

"Don't make me push you over there.."

"You don't even know what he look like."

"I know he is somewhere in front of us."

"Oh would you look at that, I got a text from Geoff, said the panel is about to start, we really shouldn't get up." I took out my while saying this to attempt to make it more believable."

"Lets go." Clare said basically bragging me. I know she wouldn't believe that but it was worth a shot.

Man I hope he doesn't see him. I really don't want talk to him.

"Lauren?!" FUCK HE SAW ME GOD DAMN IT! I'M SO GOING TO KILL CLARE LATER!

"Hey Zander."

"How have you been? It's been way to long." He is acting so innocent! I hate him...

"Been good and yeah, its has been along time. I think it was senior year since we last talked..." I hate him so much.. "Oh, this is my best friend and room mate Clare."

"Hi Clare nice to met you." Zander said.

"Nice to met you to Zander. I have heard a lot about you."

"All good things I hope."

"Well, the only thing I really talked told her about was the last time I talked to you." I said scratching the back of my neck. "So i wouldn't exactly say good things..."

"Lauren don't be rude.." Clare said.

"Bitch im the Mad Queen I can be rude if I want to."

"Yeah I know your the Mad Queen but still, there's no need to be rude!"

"Its fine Clare, she has every right to be angry and rude to me. That day didn't exactly go as planed..." Zander said. What is he talking about... "You see, I was every nervous and wanted everything to go as planed so I had one of my friends help. Little did I know she was took that to her advantage and tell like the whole fucking school that a prom proposal was going on... I shouldn't have done something big...You were already going to come with me no matter what... and everyone already knew not to ask you since we were like the couple of the our grade... I'm sorry Lauren. I wish I had tried harder to tell you what really happened. That was my biggest mistake ever..." Having dated him for a good three years I can tell when he is lying.. and he isn't... I guess we can be friends.. right? I don't see anything wrong with that.

"Hey you guys should go out to dinner or lunch tomorrow to catch up." Clare said. Shes so dead..

"That doesn't sound like a bad idea. What do you say Lauren? We can met at the front of the convention center tomorrow at noon and I'll take you to one my favorite restaurants in New York City for lunch, don't worry it wont be fancy, I remember you don't like fancy restaurants."

"I don't see why not." I said then we exchanged numbers since we had both changed our number since high school.

Clare and I walked back to our seats surprised no one took them and then moments later the panel began.

Now back stage with the guys, Clare and the girlfriends of Ray and Gavin. we have a few minutes to talk and hang before we leave to lunch.

"Did you guys enjoy the panel?"

"Yeah. It was enjoyable hearing the weird questions people ask." Clare said.

"Tomorrow I need to get someone to ask about your guys most embarrassing sex story like Gavin did to Gus, Burnie and I think Barbra on the podcast. Mostly because I want to see if would tell the truth or not."

"Now this is a story I need to hear." Meg said, is Rays girlfriend.

"I don't know what Lauren is talking about." Geoff said.

"I'll tell it another time. Lets go eat."

At the restaurant, I sit next to Ryan - totally fangirling inside - and Clare, on the other side of Clare is Michael and then Ray, Meg, Emma - Gavin's girlfriend- Gavin, jack, Geoff and then that brings us back to Ryan. We are sitting a round table. Everyone is in there own conversations, Jack and Geoff talking, Gavin and Emma talking, Ray and Meg, Michael and Clare, and then Ryan and I.

"You really a big fan of the Mad King uh." Ryan said noticing my Mag Queen cosplay outfit.

"Clare doesn't call me the Mad Queen or sometimes the Evil Queen for nothing."

"Hm you think you have what it takes to be the Mad Queen."

"Listen Haywood, I'm worse than you. In my minecraft world not only do I have Edgar and Edgar 3 in my house. In the back, I have a meat farm. I breed cows, pigs, sheep and chicken, then kill the adults for food. I demolished an entire village just so I can have my own little area with out the annoying villagers. Get to my level."

"Geez, I do need to get to your level. Why don't you teach my your ways tomorrow over dinner and I can little bit more about you."

"Alright. How about we leave Comic Con a little early tomorrow and we take the train to Long Island and I take you to a good Italian restaurants that is out there."

"Sounds like a good idea to me."

Soon the food came and we all had one big conversation instead of several little ones.

The day went on as planed except Michael stayed over instead of going back to his hotel to play video games with Clare longer. Defiantly a good day.
