"Rose?"

I heard far away from me. Or was it right next to me? One can never know for sure, when they've fainted a while ago.

"Oh God, Anya!"

I heard the voice again, now quite near me, and felt someone shaking my body.

"Anya, wake up."

The voice whispered again. Or maybe shouted. Although one thing I was certain about was that the voice stopped and I felt something on my eyes. A pressure. No, not eyes. Was it my forehead? Maybe ears. Oh no!!! It's my lips.

After the realisation, I gasped for air and opened my eyes, hitting the voices head.

"Shh shh shh, it's okay!" I saw the Doctor kneeling in front of me, rubbing his forehead where I must've hit him.

"What are you doing?!" I shrieked.

"Me? What are you doing here on the floor acting all dead? One of my hearts almost stopped."

"Did you kiss me?"

The Doctor stared at me, dumbfounded. "No. That...ehm...that was me trying to save your life, your heart wasn't beating. A wanted to get air into your lungs. Yeah, that's what I did."

"And the horse?" I asked him, nodding my head towards a beautiful white horse behind him.

"Oh, he thinks I'm his mother or something. Won't leave me alone." He shrugged and helped me to stand up. "How long have you been here? And where did you come from anyway?"

"I have no idea and I came from trampoline possessing me. That wasn't fun..." I drifted off to the moment Cassandra kissed the Doctor while being in my body, wondering if he was going to address that.

"Oh yeah, New Earth. That one was ruff." He scratched the back of his head. It was obvious he wanted to look casual and unbothered.

So he did feel awkward as well. Interesting.

"Why don't we go and look for Rose? Mickey is with you too, right? Haven't met him yet actually." I asked sheepishly, desperately trying to change the subject.

"I don't really remember if he's met you. Why don't you go and see for yourself? I need to find out where Arthur came from."

"Oh... um... yeah. I thought you'd come with... never mind, I'll go." I stuttered a little and walked away, looking for Rose and Mickey. Definitely wasn't running away from the Doctor because things were awkward between us. He for sure didn't want to get rid of me. Right?

"Is this like normal for you? Is this an average day?" I heard Mickey just around the corridor.

"Life with the Doctor, Mickey? No more average days." Rose responded.

"Oh Mickey, you should know better. As if anything around the Doctor was average." I finally faced them and chuckled a little.

"Anya!" Rose yelled out and hugged me. I really need to get used to her hugging me.

"I'm so sorry, but I haven't met you yet, although I know your name, Mickey." I looked at him with sadness in my eyes.

"Perfect, she hasn't met me yet, but still knows my name. And the Doctor? Still calls me Rickey."

I couldn't help but laugh at his statement. I always felt bad for him and also kind of knew how he must've felt in the show.

"Speaking of which, have you seen the Doctor? He should be somewhere around." Rose asked me.

"Oh, I just ran off from him."
