No one's POV: "And we're here!" Joyce announces. Will and El are happy they got bullied back in California this is there fresh new start. "Wow the house is huge" Eleven says, her eyes sparkling. "Mhm, and now you guys get to have your own bedrooms." Hopper says. The twins smile and go upstairs to find there bedrooms
After they get settled in
"I heard there is a mall do you wanna go check it out?" Eleven asks her twin "Yeah sure" Will answers. They ask their parents and they say it's ok, so they leave and head off to the mall. "Wow it's beautiful" Will says when they arrive "Yeah the colors are so bright" Eleven says in amazement "Let's go in now" Will says starting to head towards the mall "Ok wait up Will!" They go to scoops ahoy first. *Ding* *Ding* A tall woman comes out from the back looking to be about 20
"Hello what can I get ya" the tall women asks. "Chocolate in a waffle cone" Will says "Strawberry in a sugar cone" Eleven says, the woman looks at them a moment "I've never seen you around are you new here?" "Yeah we just moved from California" "Oh, cool, here's your ice cream, enjoy!" "Thanks" the twins say
The next day
"Class today we have two new students" the teacher announces. "Please come in" The twins walk in. "Please say your first name and one fact about you" "I'm Jane and my favorite ice cream flavor is strawberry" "I'm Will and I like to draw" "Alright go sit down" They sit down. Mike and Max looked at the new kids and shared a glance meaning 'let's make friends with them'. *Ring* Max isn't the type of person to go up to people but Mike is. "Hi Jane I'm Mike and this is Maxine" she slaps him hard on the arm "My names Max NOT Maxine" she said to the boy. "Um well it's nice to meet you" Jane says with an awkward smile, then walks away. "Yeah you to" Mike yells to her.
At lunch
"Hey do you guys wanna sit with me and my friends?" Mike asks the twins. "Uh, sure I guess" Jane says scratching the back of her neck "Ok come on" they follow the raven haired boy to a table. "That's Dustin" he said pointing towards a cubby kid with blonde curly hair, "That's Lucas" he says pointing to the only black boy, "And you've already met Maxine" "I swear to got if you call me that one time I'll chop off your hand" Max says "Yeah, yeah whatever, anyways you guys can sit"
In gym (the locker room)
"Well well well, look it's the dyke" a voice says "And what do you want, you know you can't just say that it's 2022 not 1986" Max says "I don't care dyke, I can say what I wanna say" she says back. Max punches her in the nose making it bleed. "No, not anymore bitch" the other girl slaps her leaving a red mark in a shape of her hand. "Oh your gonna get it!" Max screams at the kid and then jumps on top of her and starts punching her face making her scream and cry. "MAXINE GET OFF HER" the teacher screams pulling max off the girl.
"Go to the nurse I'll take care of Maxine" the girl leave to go to the nurse. "YOU to the principal's office NOW!" She said boldly. Max rolled her eyes and went to the principal's office. "Ah, Maxine, my favorite customer, what happened this time?" the principal asked "I got in a fight" Max answered "3 day suspension" the principal responded "Whatever" "Go home Maxine" "Not like I wanna be here anyway" Max gets her stuff and takes off on her skateboard.
*Ring* "Finally schools over" Mike says "Wow I didn't notice" Dustin says sarcastically "Shut up" Mike says before hitting him in the back of the head. "Dickhead" Dustin yelled to mike who took off running.
Will and El leave going home "So do you like the people we met?" Will asks "Yeah, they seem nice" El responses. "Yeah they do" "Do you like them?" "Yeah" "I think max seems a little different then everyone" "What do you mean" "I mean she seems rude but kind and she wears boy clothes" "Yeah I heard she also skateboards" "Never heard of a girl who skateboards" The brunettes enter the house "MOM,DAD WE'RE HOME" they yell no response. "Dad must be busy at work" Will says "And mom must be looking for a job" El answers.
At the wheeler house
"Nancy I'm home!" Mike yells from downstairs. "Shit robin hide!" She whisper yells, robin hides and Mike knocks on her bedroom door. "What do you want!" She yells. "Can I just come in?" He yelled back "Fine whatever" Mike entered his sisters room. "Hi I was wondering if you wanted to go to the mall later to get birthday presents for holly" Mike says "Um, sure" Nancy says "Why do you sound so nervous?" "No reason" Nancy says and she nervously giggles. "Oh I get your hiding something" "No I'm not" "Hm, what is it or who is it" Nancy got nervous as he said 'who is it' "Nothing" "I saw your face your hiding someone who is it?" "No I'm not" "Hm sure" Mike says as he searches her room.
"Stop looking around my room!" She yells at him getting off her bed. Finally he opens the closet to find Robin sitting there. "Oh my, hi Robin" "Hi" she says walking out of the closet. "Why did you have to hide Robin, hm?" He asks Nancy, her and Robin turn red and his eyes widen he figured it out. "Woah you and Robin, I thought you liked boys" "Just leave my room you stupid brat" "No" "Yes!" She yells at him, he rolls his eyes "So are who long have you and Robin been dating?" He asks with a smirk. She gives him a death stare. "Whatever I'll come back later!" The raven hair boy says before leaving the room. The door closes and locks behind him.
