When Alex woke up for school the next day she did her everyday routine, took a shower, washed her face and put on a little makeup before changing into her outfits.

When she was done she walked down stairs and saw her mom in the kitchen on the phone. She heard her talking to someone about money or the fact that they didn't have money making Alex sigh as she bites her lip before walking into the kitchen.
"Have I found Jesus? No. Son of a bitch is playing hard to get. Please take me off the list of people to call." Georgia said before hanging up her phone making Alex shake her head at her mom.
"I heard everything." She tells her mom who says sadly.
"Don't worry about it, Pumpkin I have it handled." Georgia tells Alex who nods even though she wasn't sure if her mom had it handled.
"Well I am heading to the Baker's I have to give Ellen the money for Sophomore Sleepover and me and Rowan are walking to school together." Alex tells Georgia who nods as she grabs her wallet. "Mom, I'm paying." Alex tells her as she kisses Georgia check before walking out of the kitchen before her mom could say anything.
"Love you!" Georgia calls out making ALex smile.
"Love you too!" Alex says and goes to leave but is blocked when Ginny walks into the hallway.
"Where are you going?" Ginny asked Alex witn narrow eyes.
"To my boyfriend's house." Alex said before walking by Ginny ignoring her as she asked what the hell she was talking about.
Alex just walks in because Rowan told her she could and sees all the Baker family eating at the table.
("Holle Baker family.") Alex says well, also sighing.
"Holle Alex." Max says as she looks up at her with a smile and her face turns into confusion when Rowan goes up to Alex giving her a kiss and smiles at her when they pull away making her blush like crazy. "When did this happen?" Max asked them as she pointed in between them.
"Last night." Rowan tells her as Alex walks over to Ellen taking one hundred dollars out of her wallet.
"For my ticket." Alex tells Ellen, making her nod as she grabs a metal box full of cash and grabs the money from Alex before giving her a ticket.
"Mom please let me go!" Max asks Ellen who sighs and Alex gives her a sad look as Rowan grabs her hand pulling her out of the house.
"God it has been hell all morning." Rowan tells her as they start walking down the road holding hands.
"I bet I have been hearing people talk about Sophomore Sleepover all week. I don't really understand the big deal. I'm only going with Hazel so you don't have to be alone." Alex tells him, making him smile down at her before giving her another kiss.
