Army Pov:This dream I have. It's not one I thought I'd ever picture. Sure, there was a time I'd daydream about a life in the future we're I'd be married with kids. But who I'd be married to is what surprises me, yet also excites me. I've spent time with him..Aloha.
Is it wrong that I actually want to stay with him forever and be a happy family with him? I can't imagine anything else. There's no happy ending if he's not there with me in it.That's why laying here, with him in my arms feels so right. I could just be here for the rest of the day.
"Cod you two are pathetic." Mask. I scowl and glance the way I heard him.
"What do you want." My voice is heated and lowered as to not wake Aloha.
He leans over on the couch and examines my roommate. He scoffs then leans farther down to flick his face. Reflexively, I came around and smacked his arm away. He hissed in pain and backs away. Although the damage was already done. He woke Aloha up. "Wha..what did you do..?"
My friend whines as he rubs his face."Mask." Is all it took to say before he shot up and daggers his eyes on our lazy friend's direction. Mask must have realized the matter and saw his danger. Tunnel vision, Aloha had and like a cat, he pounced and started throwing hits left and right but funny enough Mask avoided them as best as he could.
"You think it's funny to wake me up!!" Heaped in fury Aloha kept chasing Mask down. I avoid the conflict and just begin stretching my body. Sleeping on the couch isn't as comfortable as it use to be. "Die!!!"
Aloha fumed with venom dripping from his voice. "Army!!" Mask yelped as his movements begin to slow down. It wasn't until Skull came into the room and stopped the whole 'debate'
"Mind if I ask, why you two are at each others throats, this early in the cod damn morning!" It's beyond unsettling to hear Skull get upset. That's when you know things are serious.
I witness Mask and Aloha blame the other as they tattle on one another. "Army.." Skull grumbles wanting my explanation. "Mask flicked Aloha awake. Aloha isn't a morning person." I simply put into words as I brush my clothes down. Skull wasn't having it and just scooted Mask away.
"Listen, we don't have time for shenanigans. Rider and Goggles wants to go down to one of the villages where a little festival is going on and we are all attending. That means," Skull came around to each of us..."No bickering." He poked Alohas forehead. "No arguments or teasing." He sat Mask down in one of the chairs. "And no delays or trouble. Rider wants a nice outing." Skull scolds each one of us while staring deep within our souls. He reminds me of the grim reaper...
"So go freshen up. Take a shower, change clothes. I don't care just leave!" He demanded without giving us another glance. He doesn't seem to be in the happiest of moods. I should probably inform Aviators about it. Whenever Skulls like this, which isn't often, he does intend to get lost a lot faster. But, right now I think I'll take a shower. Before leaving, I inform Aloha on where I'm heading, and of course he insists on coming. My eyes switch over to Mask who I know wants to make a snarky remark, but he takes Skulls words to heart and keeps out of it.
Aloha and I grab some of our fresh clothes and begin heading to the showers. He didn't want to take one so he just stood on the other side of the barrier. "Do you think Mask's getting out of hand? I knew he was a jerk but, he seems to be worse than ever." Aloha comments as I'm still cleaning myself.
"He doesn't like us. As usual." The thought is exhausting. I mean we've dealt with his behavior before but it's becoming unbelievable.
"We were fine before. But now something is just..different." I scrunch my face at the memories on how it use to be. "He.." I began and thought about his reasoning. Should I even say it?
"He what?" Aloha heard me and waits. "He doesn't like how close we are.." mumbling as I look at the ground, watching the soap flow off my body.
He can see our friendship for what it is..it's fake. On my half however. I do want Aloha as a friend but also as something more. Mask clearly can see the truth and I assume wants me to just admit it to Aloha instead of tiptoeing around it. I'm guessing that's why he's so irritated and impatient.
