*5 yrs. later.*

College is well. I'm a writer. Well I want to be. My best friend and I decided to get an apartment together and we did. We're all moved in. Nothing has really happened.

I keep thinking about what Jackson said that one day. That they're going to get rid of me? I shake it off as I continue to lay in my bed. I check my clock. It's noon.

I have a class at 1:00 so I might as well get up and get around. "Hey Sarah." My roommate Crystal walks in. "Hey." I say as I apply mascara.

"Can you do me a huge favor later?" She asks. "Depends. What is it?" "All you have to do is interview Mr. Dallas."

I turn and look at her. "Cameron?" I ask. She nods. "You know him?" I shake my head. "No just, I don't know." She shrugs and sits on the couch. She sneezes and coughs.

"You're getting sick?" She nods. "I had to leave early." I go into the kitchen and re-heat last nights potato soup. I grab her a spoon and set the bowl down on the side table by the couch.

"Thanks." She sniffles. I grab a box of tissues and put them beside her. "When's the interview?" She pulls out her phone and looks at the calendar.

"Tomorrow at eight in the morning." I slide on my jacket an grab my keys. "I'll see you in a bit okay. Text me if you need anything and later I'm going to go work at the hardware store."

"Okay." She keeps her phone by her side and I walk out the door. Down the long narrow hall I see two boys fighting near the elevator. "I'll just take the stairs." I mumble to myself.

I run down the stairs. Living on the third floor sucks. As I'm going down the stairs I run into a guy tall and lean. "Oh I'm sorry." He says. I stumble back and start to fall back.

He grabs my arm and pulls me back up. "Sorry I'm uh heh heh. I uh." I stutter. I can't find the words to say to his chocolate brown eyes. "Be careful." he whispers.

I just stare at him as he lets me go and runs up the stairs. Woah. Hottie. Wait that was Crystal's brother, Eli. Ew. He's changed. Last time I saw him he had blonde hair, now it's black.

Gross. I shiver and head down the rest of the stairs. I step out into the fresh air. "Ah." I say to myself. I jump in my old beetle car an head to campus.

When I arrive the place is packed and it's hard to find a place to park. When I do find a place to park and actually park my car I have 15 minuets to get to class.

I grab my purse and quickly get out of my car. I lock the doors, slam my door and run to my class. I make it with 10 minuets to spare. I find a spot to sit in the front.

I place my books down and get out my notepad. And wait for Professor Alfred to walk in. Slowly as the time goes by students fill the empty seats.

"Good afternoon class." He says as he walks in with another man. The man is old and wrinkly. "Since we've been learning more about the Holocaust, I brought in my old pal Shmuel.

He waves and the class is silent. "I want you to take notes about his story because we will be having a test over it." The class groans. A test? Over some story?

"When I was younger I was happy living with my family in our shtetl. By the age of 15 the Nazis came and...................................."

I zone out and fall asleep.

The bell rings loudly causing me to wake up. "Huh?" "Beautiful class is over." Chance says to me. "Thanks." I hit his arm. He's like my brother.
