I continue to cook the spaghetti that were having for dinner. I look out the window into the field to see Cameron and our son Tacari (it means as strong as a warrior) playing.
The two love of my lives, soon to be three. As I put the noodles in the water I turn it on low and grab two popsicles from the freezer.
I open the two popsicles and then I slip on my shoes and head out to where they are.
"Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!" Tacari yells running to me. I giggle and hand him his popsicle. "Go give daddy his." I tell him and hand him the other popsicle.
I walk over to Cameron and carefully sit on the blanket he had laid out. "How are my beautiful girls?" He asks rubbing my belly. I smile and set my hand on top of his.
"Good. Crystal Elizabeth is good too." He raises his eyebrow at me. "So you really like that name?" I smile and nod.
I look out at the sunset and watch as it slowly goes down farther. "We should head instead. I have dinner cooking." Cameron nods and picks up Theodore putting him on his shoulders.
I grab the popsicle wrappers and get up holding one of Cameron's hands.
This is what I've always wanted. A family and I'm so glad I have that with Cameron.
