"Goodnight, you air-filled bags of chips! Get some good rest for tomorrow's lesson!" Tien mentioned while the chaos squad and Gage settled down. However, Gage couldn't fall asleep no matter what they did because of stress.

To take a break from the Formal Friesians chaos, the branchler theurgi snuck out the window once the riding instructor was asleep. But the rope that Gage used to climb down couldn't support their weight, which caused Boo to fall into the bushes right outside.

Once they got on their feet and made sure their antlers were in tact, Gage got startled by a twig snap. They looked in the direction of the sound, and spotted the white barn dog as she trotted into the forest thanks to the moon's subtle light. Almost out of instinct, they followed Hippolyte until their eyes caught a glimpse of the tree bark engraved portal. After the kerei dog activated the portal, the branchler exploited the couple extra seconds before the portal closed to slide into said portal.

When their composure was regained after a brief trans, Gage was quick to notice not only Hippolyte, but also what appeared to be a secret lake-side hideout that they had accidentally stumble into. That was, until Gage spotted the dog patting the neck of... something...

The creature appeared to have a horse-like head, snake-like neck, sea lion-like flippers and overall had a striking resemblance to the extinct plesiosaurus. Whatever this... thing was quick to cause Gage to become overtaken with both fear and awe. They approached the monster, but Gage wasn't able to get far before they were spotted by said monster, who let out a snarl, but showed no signs of planning to attack.

Soon after, Hippolyte's ears turn towards Gage followed by her head. "Sup, Gage. We didn't expect to have a visitor." The puffball teased with a tail wag.

Gage took a good look at the mutt and then looked at the monster before he looked back at the mutt. "Did you seriously befriend that thing?" Gage asked whilst they quivered.

"Yep. You see, Ghost Flower here got his snout caught in a snare trap. But I have to help care for him until he gets better." Hippolyte explained as Ghost began to investigate Gage. Though, Gage did attempt to give the animal some chin scratches.

The pom then turned to Gage once again. "Just don't tell anyone else about this. I don't want to risk anybody accidentally sharing this information with any potential wrong-doers who might want to . But, feel free to stay at the Champlain Hideout whenever you need some peace and quiet!" Hippolyte offered.

"Sounds like a deal to me!" they respond with their hand out for a handshake. Which, Hippolyte promptly shook her paw for said handshake. After that, the trio spent a lot of time gossiping, watching some YouTube videos, and doing other sleepover stuff right before the trio fell asleep.

That morning, Gage's phone alarm went off and caused them and Hippolyte to realize breakfast was in five minutes. So the three paranormal pals bid farewell for the time. Ghost went out to hunt some food while Gage and Hippo enjoyed their own hearty meals back at the farm.
