Chapter 10

I knocked on the door and waited for a reply.

"Come in." Bradley shouted from inside.

I opened the door and took a step forward.

"Hey.." I say.

"Oh Lily. Hey." He said.

"I'm sorry about earlier."

"No no, don't be. It's my fault." he said.

I nodded and closed the door.

He sat down on his bed and I joined him.

"It's just that it's kinda hard for me to talk about my parents."

"Did something happen?" He asked me.

I looked at him "Well I'm kind of an Orphan."

He hugged me right away and rubbed my back.

"I- I am so sorry. I had no idea.." he said in a sad tone.

I hugged back. "It's fine. It's not your fault."

He pulled away from the hug and looked at me worried.

I looked at the floor.

"What about we do something today?" He asked me.

"Like what?"

"Hmm so we're in Boston. You're new here so I could show you around." He smiled at me.

"Yea why not." I smiled back.

We both stood up and walked to the door.

As we were walking down the stairs he shouted something.

"Mom, I'll show Lily around Boston. Okay?"

Holland came to the stairs "yea totally. Just be at home at 8 for dinner."

We nodded and went outside.

"Let's start with the house. I mean you're gonna be here for the most of the time."

"Yea I guess." I chuckled.

"Okay so when you look staight from the stairs here, you'll see the water fountain with the bench. When you look to the side you see the drive in."

"Thank you for noticing. I have eyes too." I chuckled.

Bradley blushed "Sorry. I don't do this often."

We went down the stairs and went behind the house.

"That's the garden or backyard. How ever you wanna call it. We have a pool here and swings and- - yea okay, I'm doing it again." He chuckled.

"No problem." I laughed.

We went back and saw Paul with a smaller car then earlier.

"Paul can you drive us to the city?" Bradley asked.

"Sure. Get in the car."

"No way!" I laughed.

"No, it's the truth. I looked like a girl when I was in kindergarten. We still have pics." He chuckled.

"I need to see them."

"Uh uh not gonna happen." He said.

"Well, I'm just gonna go to Holland and I ask her about it." I teased.

"Don't you dare." He laughed.

I smirked and walked pass him.

He followed me "so how do you like Boston so far?"

"I really like it." I said as I finished my ice cream.

Bradley and I have been in the city for the past 2 hours and bought ice cream for each other.

"Want to go the park?" He asked me.

"Sure." I said.

"Yea I was here before." I said as we sat down on the bench.

"I thought it was the first time for you in Boston." He chuckled.

"Well yea but I was here this morning when your mom talked to me." I laughed.

"Oh yea?"

"Yea." I chuckled.

Something started beeping and it was his phone.

He answered it "Yea? We'll be there in a minute."

"Who was that?" I asked.

"Paul. It's 8 soon and we need to be there before dinner."

"Right."

He stood up and looked down at me. "You're coming?"

"One second." I said closing my eyes.

We were walking a lot today. I'm kinda tired already.

I felt a hand on mine. "C'mon"

He helped me up and we started walking to the car.

Paul was leaning against the car and smirked when he saw us. Umm okay.

"We're here, calm down." Bradley said.

"Mhm" Paul said smirking and looking down at something.

I followed his eyes and saw that Bradley and I were still holding hands.

We pulled away after we sat in the car.

"There you guys are. C'mon get ready." Holland said on the door and went to the living room.

"Getting ready?" I whispered to bradley confused.

"Oh yea. We always need to dress up a little for dinner. Don't know."

"Oh." I said.

I have nothing to dress up.
