Chapter 2: Void

I struggled to wake up. I stretched and slowly opened my eyes, when stretching I almost fell off of something. Being shooken up, I looked around, confused. I wasn't in the couch, or my room. Wherever this was, it didn't seem familiar, it was some kind of blank foggy black void. Getting up and wondering what I was on and where it went while I was asleep, I just decided to move on.
I walked around, my footsteps didn't make a single noise. There was nothing here, what was I here for? As I continued walking, I began to see something, there was some kind of red liquid on the floor. Then I realized, it was blood. I started to run forwards as more and larger drops of blood were ahead, until I finally saw someone.
The person appeared extremely glitchy, but they were about my size. They were on their knees on the ground, I couldn't make out what they were saying, the only thing I heard was crying. I approached them slowly, and noticed their hands were covering their face. As I looked closer I saw where the blood came from. They had two scars on them, but from the glitchiness, one of the scars kept changing places.

"Hello? Do you need help?'' I called out to them. There was no response, I doubt they even heard me. Was something going on in their head? As I tried to approach them, they put their hands on their head, and began to loudly scream. One of their eyes formed a strange symbol on it as tears came out of their other eye. They promptly pulled some magic out of their hand, and made the other scar hidden.
They slowly got up, some power following them in a strange aura. As they got up, they turned around, and noticed me.

"Hello?.." I asked to them. They didn't reply. I waited, all they did was stand there for a moment. In the blink of an eye, they started to rush over to me in a violent manner. Panicked, I began to run as fast as I could away, I didn't know where I was going because of the fog, all I knew was I needed to try and go forward the best I could. I felt my heartbeat start going rapidly, while I sweat more than ever putting everything into getting away as fast as possible. I looked behind myself, making sure I kept my speed. I wasn't gaining any distance from them.
Their speed slowly increased, until they finally grabbed a hold of me. I stared horrified as they threw me onto the ground harshly on my back. I twitched in pain and could only watch what they would do next. The figure pulled a scythe out from their eye somehow, and then proceeded to swing at me.
