Chapter 3: Tiring Day

(Just to let you know I'm not giving Bandu's friends names because the thing is I don't see them as or think they should be actual "characters" because they basically appear for like two parts but are all different people and I don't feel like giving so many names and stuff to that many people and I definitely don't wanna like em either nuh uh so they're either gonna be called by different pronouns or just "friend 1" or idfk)

I shook myself up from my nightmare. I looked around closely and even pinched myself, to make sure everything was real, and it was. I was in my room, and fell off of my bed. I guess Expunged probably had noticed I fell asleep on the couch and just put me in my room. The horrible dream left me with no hunger, so I got up and walked downstairs.
It was a sunny day just like yesterday, thankfully. Usually when it's raining or darker, I tend to get more lost in my thoughts and think about things too much. I didn't even want to think or try to understand what my dream meant, dreams are just too weird to understand. I walked to my front door and walked out, made sure to lock it before I left.
I grabbed my phone that I conveniently teleported into my hand as I left it indoors, and texted Bambi, asking if I could come over. It took him a moment to reply, but then he finally replied that it would be a while until he could hang out, as he had some things to do. I was ok with that and told him, and put my phone away. I decided I should find some of my friends in the next neighborhood and have fun with them.
I decided to have fun and jumped slightly off the ground, letting myself levitate with my powers. I began to zoom by on the sidewalk, passing lots of bright green grass and big colorful houses. Not many people drove cars, so I didn't see many come by. I did a few tricks like flipping in the air and more as I went along, doing tricks in the air was always something I loved to do.
I eventually made it to one of my friends houses, and politely rang their doorbell, hoping they'd be able to have fun today. Some second passed by, and then I saw the door quickly open.

"Hello Bandu!" he said excitedly.

"Hi friendo! I wanted to know if you were free today! Maybe we could get the group and play some things like uh.. board games, video games, sport games, any of that sound appealing?'' I replied.

"Video games, definitely. I'll ask everyone to grab their Nintendo Switches, everyone shares a lot of common interests with the games on there. I'm sure we could find something." He replied, and rushed back into his house for a moment to grab his game case and switch. He then yoinked my hand and proceeded to drag me to another friendos house.

"Hellooooo?? Ya free for Nintendo Games?" (Friend) 1 knocked on his door and waited more patiently. While we waited I teleported my Nintendo Switch and game case conveniently into my hands, and put them under my hat.
We heard a loud BANG! And then the door opened.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm free, sheesh! Why can't you use the goddamn doorbell?" (friend) 2 complained.

"You don't even have a doorbell, that's why." 1 explained.

"What kind of psychopath doesn't have a doorbell..?" I muttered.

"YOU TOO?! CMON!!" 2 yelled, picking up on what I said.

"Alright, alright, enough. Let's go get 3 and then go and play, aight?" 1 said, clearing 2's harsh atmosphere. We all walked over to 3's, rang his doorbell, yada yada. No one even told him what we were doing, because we all knew he'd somehow pick up on it, he always did.
3 came out with his switch and games, with a blank expression.

"We got everyone! Where do we go now though?" I asked.

"The park, sunny, and if it's too sunny for anyone there is plenty of shady spots." 3 said calmly. Everyone agreed with him, and we all took the sidewalk down to where the park was. I hadn't went to the park in a long time, the last time I went was at least 4 months ago with Expunged.
I pointed to a small structure made in the park that provided shade, basically asking if everyone wanted to go there. Everyone agreed, and we all went under there, sat down, and pulled out our switches.
