Chapter 4: A Better Day

Just saying somethin important design wise!! If I get motivation to, I'll do Bambi's design from X's universe. I have like every other ref done, and Soft's Bandu is basically almost done. Whenever I have them all done, I'll update the refs in the first thingy here, the updated refs spoil nothing and also look A LOT better. Those old refs make me cringe.... [coughs aesthetically]

Thankfully tonight, I had no weird dream. I did wonder if that dream was supposed to symbolize what happened yesterday or something else, but I knew I wouldn't dare ask, life has it's weird play-arounds. Compared to last night, I felt way better. My body still ached a little, but not nearly as much, and I was able to walk. I looked down at the floor where Bambi was, and saw he was still asleep. I checked the time on my phone, realizing I woke up early.
I quietly got up from my bed, and went out of my room and walked quietly down the stairs as well. Since I woke up early, I thought I should probably make some breakfast for Bambi. The only problem was, I didn't know how to cook or make things, only basic things like sandwiches. I let out a sigh, and grabbed a waffle box on the counter. I read the instructions and tried my best to make some waffles.
As I waited for them in the waffle panner (whatever the fuck those things are called), I sat around and decided to actually think on yesterday.
1 and 2.. Could they have been planning doing that this whole time, and their yelling and arguments being a disguise? Or maybe they just didn't get along well.. Either way, I was going to make sure I didn't see them again. I felt a slight anger towards 3 for not helping me, but I don't know what I'd do in the situation, so I had to put myself into place and remind myself I probably would've ran too.
I started to hear a concerning sizzle, so I quickly went to the waffle maker and saw that it got slightly burnt.

"Crap!" I said angrily, and pulled it out quickly and threw it onto a plate. The good thing was, it was a big waffle, and it was mostly one side that got burnt, so I decided I'd cut half of it for me and Bambi, and give myself the burnt side. I grabbed a knife from a drawer, and carefully split it in half. I had no genuine idea how to add more spazazz, so I just put a swirl of whipped cream and a cherry on top of Bambi's side, despite the fact that was more for different foods.
I suddenly heard someone coming downstairs and they let out a yawn, I knew it was Bambi. Putting our pieces on different plates, I ran over to him.

"Good morning! I woke up before you, so I made you breakfast!" I exclaimed happily.

Bambi let out a small laugh. "How better are you now? Not too many sores now are there?"

"Nope! Only a little, I mean sure I was covered in bruises, but they're almost gone already. I guess it really is a chaos god thing to recover so easily." I answered.

"Indeed it is! I guess it makes up for you not having many powers or control of powers yet." He replied. I handed him the nicer waffle side. As he was about to eat it, he looked at the other side that I was going to eat.
"Are you sure you want me to eat this side? I mean, we can swap. I don't mind burnt things."

"Yeah, I made that side for you! I'll be alright. I learnt a lesson at least when trying to make those waffles anyways." I told proudly.

"If you insist. But you better not come complaining later!" Bambi laughed, and then I began to as well. We sat down at the dining table and had ourselves a nice breakfast. I ate my breakfast way faster than he did, and then lay back in my chair slightly kicking my legs back and forth until he finished.
As Bambi was in the middle of his last bite, we began to hear the front door unlock.

"Expunged?" I asked into the air, and ran to the door and waited for it to open. Bambi followed slowly after me. Finally the door opened, and I saw the familiar figure I love.
"Expunged!" I exclaimed, and hugged him immediately. I heard a small laugh, I wasn't sure who it was from, but it made me happy.
"You're back! Can we play a game or two? Pleaseeee?" I asked politely. I heard Expunged let out a tired sigh, and he was silent for a short moment, probably thinking.
