Interviewer: Watching Aislinn's near death, how did it feel? It's okay if you don't feel comfortable speaking about it.

Billy Dunne: It was a wakeup call [the older man sighs].

Graham Dunne: I- I thought she was gone.

Karen Sirko: Billy and I arrived at the hospital a few hours after she was brought in. I remember seeing Eddie stressed in the waiting room. We found out they were trying to stabilize her, but the baby was healthy.

Camila Dunne: I wasn't there but I remember my heart dropping at Billy calling me to tell me everything that had happened [the older woman tears up].

Warren Rojas: It was scary [the older man frowns]. Waiting for the doctors to come in, no idea what to expect.

Eddie Loving: Tell the people you love that you love them, you never know what a few hours can bring.

Aislinn Loving: Life isn't forever, anything can happen.

1977

In the moments that Eddie waited for the doctor to come out, he had called his mom while Graham called his. Eddie had nearly broken down the moment his mom answered the phone, he told her the baby had been born healthy, but that Aislinn had yet to wake up. Janet's heart broke at the sound of her son's voice, all she could tell him was to have hope and that she was headed their way.

Eddie Loving: I remember having my head in my hands, sitting in the waiting room, thinking I would lose the love of my life and baby.

The doctor came out to tell the group of friends that Aislinn was now stabilized, she had lost a lot of blood causing her to pass out after giving birth but that everything was now fine. He told them that only one person could be in the room with her. Eddie turned to Graham, who told him to go and that he'd wait outside for Billy and Karen's arrival.

Aislinn Loving: The doctors said it was stress, that I could've lost my life and my sons because of it.

Eddie walked into Aislinn's room and felt relief in seeing her peacefully sleeping. He sat down in the seat next to her bed, waiting for her to wake up.

Aislinn woke up feeling exhausted, she turned to see Eddie sat next to her sleeping. What happened? It took her a few minutes to realize what had happened. She had passed out, the last thing she remembered was seeing her baby crying before she dozed off.

Eddie woke up to the sight of Aislinn sitting up in her bed staring at the wall in front of her. Eddie instantly got out of his chair getting closer to Aislinn and holding her face, as he scanned her features.
