Rebel hissed at the sun. He was supposed to be training under the shade, tending to fellow rebels, practicing shooting dummies to a stuffy pulp for fun. No, he was stuck in the sun, it practically burning down on him. He stood there, trying to not be hit by one ounce of sun on the face as he flinched at someone's grip. He was being dragged along by the hand, by you, of course. You just wanted your boyfriend to go out and have some fun with you with a little date. He's been working for so long that you could barely see him around anymore, so you asked him to call out sick and get to hanging out with you. Sure, nothing was wrong with that to Rebel, but something was definitely wrong with this weather. He wanted no part in it, so he desperately began going behind you for shade. You tilted your head, noticing this.

"Really, Reb?" You said with a flat tone. He simply glared at you as you were the one that forced him out here after all! You should NOT be complaining about him trying to get shade. You huffed, managing to read his face perfectly. You were getting better at it. "Look", you pause in your steps, facing him. "If the weathers bothering you that much, why don't we take a look around, maybe go window shopping?" You smile, tilting your head while the grip you had on his hand softened. He looked at you with a deadpanned expression. However, hearing the words "You can sit under the roof of the shops", it soon fixed itself to be more tired, with a sigh. He nodded his head. "Great!" You grinned, tugging him more softly since he really did look like he was done with the sun.

The first stop was near a bakery. You two were eyeballing the life out of everything there. The bread, the delicious donuts, the lovely cakes and cupcakes... The urge to buy and eat something was strong, but eventually you two would promise to come back in order to come back for the pastries.

 Which was 10 minutes later.

You devoured your favorite sweet pastry as Rebel handed you a cookie he ordered. You opened your mouth casually, as Rebel was confused to why. Rebel wasn't always the one that would usually do romance stuff. You got him to understand by pointing to the inside of your mouth. Rebel slowly got the gist of it, beginning to feed you the cookie. You bit down on it with an "Om!" and enjoyed the soft inside and hard crust around the cookie. After you two were finished up with the pastries and nice, cold drinks, you paid for yours and his meals and made your way down to some clothes store nearby. You found a shirt that made you gasp, holding it up and observing how it fit on you. Rebel turned his head and glanced at the shirt. You saw a smile begin to form before you set it back down. It immediately dropped as well once you put it back, Rebel tilted his head at you once more in confusion.

"I'm just checking stuff out.. not here to buy much." You then glanced at Rebel's attire. He was still in his work outfit, the gun being hidden under his gear. You went into thought for a moment before a smile came onto tour face. "Maybe we could find you something new to wear..." You put your hand to your chin. You led Rebel into a section where he could look around for new clothes. Rebel stared at the shirts and pants with a blank expression. You managed to get Rebel to try out a few things before he settled on a red turtleneck. He immediately paid for it on the spot as you just tilted your head at him with a surprised expression. "You. Didn't even ask for the price." You said, but honestly? With how doing the whole Evading thing pays, you wouldn't be surprised Rebel had his own money too. Another thing you were surprised about was that he even added the shirt you wanted to the cart. You assumed that this was probably for the whole pastry-food-being-paid-for-by-you thing.

"Thanks, Reb." You grinned. He nodded, going off to a fitting room to switch into the turtleneck, setting his uniform in the shopping bag, yet kept his uniform pants on and didn't get any to change in. It was only since his pants were the thing that held his gun to his waist. At the very least with a normal looking shirt, he let you cling onto his arm, wrapping your arms around him didn't make him jump or flinch in any way anymore!! That's definitely something!

The last stop you stopped near was a weaponry shop. You've never been to one before, no, but it sure as hell caught Rebel's attention real fast. He was practically shaking as he witnessed all the weapons around him. So much to use.. so much to buy... but. This was some window shopping, annd he forgot his gun license back at home. His expression went blank for the rest of the time he was there, but when he left, he had an expression of "I'll buy something there next time" with a fierce determination. You chuckled as his face went blank, looking at you with a confused expression.

"Bah!.. Sorry. You're just adorable." You say with a giggle this time. Your face reddened immediately at your choice of words, Rebel just blinked in confusion as his cheeks turned a slight red.  You chuckled anxiously as Rebel smiled. He wrapped his arm around you and nuzzled your cheek with affection. You laughed a little as he did this, planting kiss onto his face. He melted into it, flopping himself onto you with a swooned look. "REB!" You began to laugh as he knocked the two of you over, Rebel's face was a widened grin from ear to ear while you laughed. Rebel gave you a quick kiss before sitting up and brushing himself off. He helped you up as your laughing quieted down. You decided it's best that Rebel gets back before his job begins to suspect he's staying out longer than he should be.

"See?" You said. "It wasn't that bad, right?" You smiled. Rebel glanced away in thought before he nodded happily. He seemed to really enjoy today. As the both of you walked home, it was becoming 7pm on the clock. The sun was beginning to go down in the horizon. You walked along together back home, admiring the sky above.
