3rd person P.O.V
The heroes chasing Todoroki felt bad.
No one should ever have to resort to suicide. Even if they have killed someone. They decided to see who he killed, and Nezu used a rapid DNA test, (a/n rapid Covid tests anyone?) to test who it was.
They spent an anxious three minutes waiting. And when the result popped up. Nobody could breathe, all the heroes who had been there were guilty.
It was Shoto's own blood.
Shoto hadn't harmed others, he harmed himself.
Shoto had been innocent, and the heroes had driven him to commit suicide.
"We fucked up," said Aizawa.
"What was that Aizawa?" Midnight asked, "We absolutely fucked up, it never even thought about how he could just be self-harming."
"How could we have known he was depressed and self-harming?! He barely talks!" Midnight said, trying to make herself feel better.
Aizawa was not taking it, and he glared Midnight straight in the eyes, and then in the coldest voice imaginable he told her,
"Midnight, a child, a sixteen-year-old fucking CHILD who had so much to live for, a great future ahead of him! COMMITTED SUICIDE BECAUSE WE DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS DEPRESSED! We never even considered it! WE DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO TRY TO MAKE OURSELVES FEEL BETTER! We have to make sure that this NEVER happens again."
He paused, tears were now rolling down his face, and the same with some of the other heroes, especially Midnights. Aizawa continued.
"A child is dead because we came to the wrong conclusions."
A/N, this was just a nice idea that came to mind, so I wrote it.
