3rd person P.O.V

The clock was moving ticking, but no one noticed. For no one was counting how long until they could leave, they were trying desperately to figure out who the traitor was. Making the room flow with tension. Though Iida tried to tell everybody to not jump to conclusions about who it is, everybody had already split into groups of people they trusted, and a few people stayed on their own. Though a few people were not pulled into groups, or just partnered with their best friends.

Tokoyami was alone, for his cape would make it easy to hide listening devices and weapons, and his strange sayings could be codes. And dark shadow could be a messenger, Tokoyami could hide in range for him to talk to the league, while he would also act as a lookout. He was also partly because he didn't trust anybody himself, and preferred to be alone.

Shoji, was also alone by choice, but also because of his scary and mysterious demeanour, (though he was the youngest). And his mask was just scary sometimes.

M!neta was alone for obvious reasons. He was a pervert.

And Todoroki was the last person alone.

Midoriya's P.O.V

I felt really bad for leaving Todoroki alone. But he couldn't trust him, there was too much evidence.

His past with Endeavor, and his hatred of him

(Midoriya only knows about the abuse to a certain degree)

His mysterious demeanour

Constantly disappearing from the dorms

And just being so silent.

But added to that Midoriya had more evidence, for he had once seen blood on Todoroki's sleeve. It was unexplained, it was scary.

Midoriya just couldn't trust Todoroki.

Todoroki's P.O.V

Todoroki wasn't good a reading other peoples emotions, but he did know that Midoriya was looking at him guiltily.

The Dekusquad are, or were his best friends,

They dragged him everywhere with them,

They were looking at him like he had betrayed them.

They didn't trust him.

The tree of distrust had been planted, and it was rooting itself into the class of 1-A. And the roots were growing stronger by the second, feeding itself of the distrusted, wrapping around them, choking them, until they wouldn't be able to breath, or want to. And unless they were saved, they wouldn't survive.

That was actually a thing for anything, if something wasn't saved, it wouldn't survive.

And for oh so long had Todoroki needed a saviour.
