Micheal's head snapped towards me, too fast, even Jake noticed. "Since when?" Micheal asked almost accusingly, as if I owed him an explanation.

"A couple months ago" I lied, Iv'e been married for two years. He frown " You would've been what, 17?" My lips threatened to curl upwards at his tone.

I roll my eyes "so what, I'm allowed to do whatever I want." I get cut off "where did you get married?" Jake asks.

I look around before answering "in Columbia." I wasn't lying I was married and then widowed. And I haven't been able to take off my ring.

I missed Kannin,

They probably thought I was talking about Barty.

I had no problem letting these four idiots think I was marring Barty. I know the four horsemen, I know Damon. He wouldn't stop not even now that he knows I'm engage, they might be worse than ever.

"Do your parents or your family know?" He asks in his serious, angry tone. He asked like he wanted leverage over me.

I look at him and answer honestly "yes they know."

He looked absolutely furious, I've never seen him like this. He not only looked angry but he looked jealous.

"And where is your husband now?" Jake asked taking me out of my thoughts "oh, he's taking care of some personal business, he's actually joining me soon though."

That was a lie. But Barty would be here and he could temporarily fill in the role until I find a way on how to tell little Dave that his dad is dead.

"Well, could you tell me where the bathroom's at, I'd like to change" He nods point me to the closest bathroom.

"Thank you, excuse me" I say before leaving.

I sigh, in about two days Barty would be back, and I didn't know whether to be happy or annoyed.

I remove my heels and my dress leaving myself in nothing but my black bikini, I take out my sandals and put them on.

My hair was all down, wavy, free. Once I leave the bathroom, feel the warm air relax me, making the pool seem very appealing.

I take sip of the glass of wine that I took from a waiter when I exited the bathroom.

I take off my sandals when I reach one of the resort chairs near the pool, I walk up to the edge of the pool where the pool stairs are at.

A sigh of relief escapes my lips as soon as I touch the water. I go under water pushing my hair back. I rise walking up to where my wine's at.

Two years ago I wouldn't have been able to get into the water without freaking out or getting flashbacks.

I take my wine off the floor bringing it to my lips, I take a decent sized sip before I hear someone talk.

I look over seeing a brunette wearing a red bikini, I look at her confused "can I help you?" She frown for a moment almost looking hurt that I didn't know her "I'm Alex" she said changing her frown into a smile.

I nod, who? I though to myself. "I saw you the other day at the Delcour" I tilt my head, was she the girl Micheal was with that night? No, the other girl had red hair "right" I say nodding. Or maybe I just didn't get a good look at who Micheal was with.

Yet, I don't really care who Micheal's with or see's. I sigh taking a couple more sips of wine, I feel myself relax, I ignore Alice.

My eyes close, I could feel the wine make me tipsy, suddenly I hear a familiar voice, making open wide. I look up only to see Evan Rosier, I gasp a smile making it's way to my lips.

I haven't seen Evan in years, it's good to see him.

"Surprise, love" He says smirking.
