SO, Dawn doesn't go to see the President. Her dad does, though. And then, there's a tapping on her bedroom window.

She furrows her brows and opens it to see Steven. She sighs and opens the door. "The hell are you doing here?" She asks.

"I wanted to see you." He smiles as he climbs into the room, then scans the girls pajamas up and down. "Cute."

"My eyes are up here, Hyde." Dawn says. Steven looks back up to the girls face and smiles. "If my dad finds you in here, I'm dead."

"Well, I'll see him in hell one day." Steven says. Dawn hits him on his arm. "Hey!"

"That's my dad!" Dawn tells him. "Now, get out, Hyde."

"C'mon, Sunshine, I wanna hang out with you!" Steven says. Dawn rolls her eyes. Steven shifts his gaze to the desk to see a bible. "Ah, your bible study."

"I don't read it." Dawn says as she sits down on her bed.

"I didn't know you were a church girl, Sunshine." Steven says. Dawn shakes her head.

"I'm not. My dad is." Dawn says. "Why are you here, Hyde?"

"So a guy can't see his best friend?" He asks as he holds his arms out for a hug. Dawn sighs and hugs him, resting her forehead on his shoulder.

"You ok, Sunshine?" Steven asks. Dawn nods.

"I just need you to hug me." She says softly. Steven asks no more questions and just hugs her.

Steven has no idea why she's upset, or why she wants him to hug her, but he will ask no questions about any of it.

Because Dawn is his friend. And he cares about her.

DAWN SITS IN the Forman's basement, listening to the crappy music Jackie decided to play.

"Ooh, I just want to hear the guitar solo one more time." She says making everyone groan.

"Not again. Use the headphones." Steven says. Jackie plugs in the headphones and begins to listen to the music. "Good. Now, wrap the cord around your neck."

"Would you guys respect me if I worked in the town dump?" Eric asks.

"The town dump? No." Donna says. "Now, the state dump - why are you looking for a job?"

"Everything costs money. Gas, clothes, fun." Eric says.

"Dates. Dates cost money." Kelso says.

"No, Kelso, that is prostitution." Fez says making Dawn raise her eyebrows.

"Dating is prostitution, man. Only you don't always get what you pay for." Steven says.

"Said the man who's never had a girlfriend." Dawn says.

"What, you guys don't remember Esther the biker chick?" Steven asks.
