"OK, what pizza do you want for dinner?" Dawn asks as she writes down pizza order on a notepad.

"Pepperoni." Maya states. Dawn nods and writes it down. "What pizza does Steven like?"

"I don't know." Dawn states. "I think he likes pepperoni too."

Maya's eyes light up. "He can share mine!"

Dawn chuckles and nods. "Sure, if you're ok with that." She says. When the doorbell rings, Maya jumps down from her chair and runs to the door.

"Steven!" Maya squeals. Dawn walks from the kitchen to the front door and sees her little sister hugging Steven.

When his eyes meet Dawn's, he smiles. "Hi." He says.

"Hi." She says. Maya lets go of Steven and leads him inside. "Maya, go and have a shower."

"But -"

"Go have a shower before the pizza comes." Dawn says, this time a little more sternly. Maya nods and goes upstairs, leaving Steven and Dawn alone.

Steven leans forward and kisses Dawn, earning a kiss back. When they part, Dawn starts smiling. "Hi."

"Hi." They say again.

"I, um, I got you a present." Steven says as he hands over a card. Dawn smiles.

"You didn't have to, Steven." Dawn chuckles. Steven shrugs. Dawn opens the card and inside is a photo of the two of them on Christmas eve of 1971 and a message.

These last couple years that I've known you have been my favourite. The way you laugh, the way you smile, the way you get excited when Stevie Nicks starts playing on the radio, all of it makes me happy.

Asking you out on a date was the most nerve wracking thing I've ever done, but I'm so glad I did it. So, I guess tonight I have a question to ask you.

Dawn looks up with raised eyebrows. "What's the question?" She asks in a small voice.

"Dawn," Steven starts. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks. Dawn smiles and nods.

"Yeah, I will." She says. Steven smiles and pulls her into a hug. "Can we order the pizza now?" She says into his shirt.

Steven chuckles. "Yeah, sure." He says. The two of them go into the kitchen and order the pizza.

After a while, they slowly drift to the living room and sit down on the couch. "Ok, we can watch Casablanca, Fiddler on the Roof, but or Breakfast at Tiffany's."

"Are they the only movies you have?" Steven chuckles. Dawn nods. "Ok, then, Casablanca." He says. Dawn nods and puts on Casablanca.
