Severus knew that this coming weekend that Harry needed to got into his Siren form for the rest of the night but now he had to come up with a lie to hide the fact the both he and Harry needed to go to the great lake until the next morning before breakfast for the students began. He had an idea, James would head back to the Potter Manor to get it livable again but that wasn't for another 3 weeks so he'd have to either stay in his room or help Poppy in the hospital wing since only Professor sprout, Professor Flitwick, Poppy and Minerva with very stated and an important plead to keep James' status extremely secret from Albus Dumbledore since the senile old man tried to keep his son from his forever and leave him in the care of some of the worst Muggles he's ever met.

So he began to come up with the lie of Detention so he could sneak Harry out to the great lake to get into the water he was just hoping this worked.

The week passed by fairly quickly and Severus came up with the lie of detention before ushering Harry to grab and extra pair of clothes and to follow him, they were at the black lake no later then 30 minutes. "Why are we at the great lake?" he asked setting his clothes beside the tree "remember the day i told you about your siren form?' Harry nodded "well, on certain days of the year sirens need to get into the water for a full night to early morning, it's just something that we need to do honestly" He tossed his clothes by the tree before walking in the water as his form shifted and his scales were showing again "Come on" Harry followed after Severus into the water and his own changed then he met his mum in the middle of the lake before they sank below the surface.

James was bored and knew where his husband and son so were so he thought, why not go out to meet them like he did in the past? He grinned and opened the window and let his wings out behind his back and jumped out the window before taking flight to the black lake, the sunset was almost finished so it was the perfect time to swoop in undetected. He heard chatter and smirked, found them. "What's that?" Harry pointed to the sky where Severus looked and sighed "Your idiot father, James!" James flew to them and was just inches above the water "Hey Sev, remember that one Halloween back in our 6th year?" He grinned as Severus rolled his eyes with blush on his cheeks "Maybe" he said "What happened?" Harry asked with a head tilt as Severus's cheeks went full on a dark shade of red and James laughed "Oh bud, you interested to know? well--" He was cut off with being splashed with water in the face by Severus "Don't even think about it or i will shred you to pieces!" He yelled a deep shade of red and James just laughed again with his head soaked in water Harry was confused and kept trying to figure out what happened while Severus denied the knowledge and kept threatening James to keep his mouth shut on the matter of that event. Severus rather keep that between him and James rather then tell their son about that eventful night that involved a lot of sex and he still refuses to remember that but he can't forget it no matter how hard he tires and he's not using the memory wipe spell, not a chance.
