As much as she wanted to live long, and happily with the love of her life, Lucifer, her fate decided on something else that could change the two lovers' lives. Or, one of theirs only.

The woman, Y/N L/N, woke up due to the rays of the hot and bright sun hitting her face, she got out of her bed, not minding of brushing her hair. "Good- Oh wait, I live alone now." She had returned from the realm filled with devils, Devildom. She of course felt lonely without the love of her life along with his family and friends, but she knew she will be back anytime soon. She made herself some food as she prepared for the day.

She had worn her work uniform as she was walking to the nearby not-so popular, yet crowded café she works in. "Oh, Y/N-chan! Good morning!" Her co-worker, Kaito greeted. "Good morning to you too, Kaito." She greeted with her beautiful smile. "Where's Kaiya?" Kaiya, Kaito's twin sister and Y/N's other co-worker. "She's feeling unwell today, and I think we are the only ones working today. Good luck to us." They both sighed, disappointed that no one else other than them woke up for work.

"Well, at least I got you by my side." Y/N chuckled, and so did Kaito. "Yer right about that, matey!" He laughed. "You're so loud." She complained. "Shut up!"

"Oh, it's Saturday today?" They both whispered. "It- It is a literal Saturday." Y/N had deadpanned as her smile dropped. "We're so stupid!" Kaito laughed. "I know right!" They both laughed. "Say, have you heard the rumours about Aki and his group?" You felt a nagging feeling in your stomach. "What is it?" You asked. "Good lord! Sister, we gotta go to my house and talk. You missed out on ALOT of shit." He yelled. "Damn, might be good." "Shit ain't good sister."

"So, what's the rumour about that you had to drag me to your.. disgusting home?" You scrunched your nose, eying the huge, smelly mess in the area. "Damn it, Y/N! Be serious!" He yelled. "Damn, fine, chill." You both sat down. "Lately, rumours of Aki has been spreading around saying that he's stalking someone in your area." Your eyes widened. "Aki? Stalking? No way." You chuckled nervously. "Yes way!" He grunted. "He knows EVERYONE in your street, you HAVE to be careful, who knows what can happen to you." You both sighed.

"Aki, he got to jail due to stalking a woman and killing her, right..? Then, how's he out of jail when we didn't even bail him out?" You frustratedly said. "That's the problem! But it isn't too serious, considering he has a gang." "I have a gang too, Kaito!" You slammed your hands on the table.

"I'm sorry, it's so hard to accept and confirm all of this." You sighed. "I understand, if you want, you can go home." You nodded. "See you both on Monday." You grabbed your bag. "Stay safe, Y/N." You nodded as the uneasy feeling hit you, it's already evening and you're going home alone.

"It will be fine, Y/N, nothing will happen." You sighed. You started walking until, you felt a presence behind you. You looked around using eyes only, to avoid the stalker to know that you sense their presence. This must be Aki. 'I gotta hurry, or I could summon Lucife-' Your thoughts got cut off as you heard a gunshot. Your ears suddenly rang as pain from your abdomen, chest, and leg hit you. You fell on to the ground as you bled and bled. "Aki..?" You muttered, seeing him. "Hello." He said with his regular shit-eating grin.

"I loved you so much, Y/N, but you had to reject me for that shitty demon." He sat down in front of your bleeding body as he ran his cold-pale hands through your h/c strands of hair. "You're so pretty even when you're bleeding, Y/N.." He smiled wider. "You're fucking insane.." You muttered out before blacking out.

I felt a strange feeling in my chest, shrugging it off, I decided to call MC. "She's not picking up.." That's unusual, she would usually pick up after a few seconds. I called her again, but still no response. "I guess I should just go to her." I sighed. I put my DDD on the table as I started using my magic to teleport to her.

I arrived as I saw her bleeding on the floor with gun wounds on her chest, abdomen, and leg. "Y/N?!" I ran towards her. I checked for a breathing and pulse as I didn't receive any physical and mental response from her. I sat beside her, holding her deceased body in my hands, crying. "I will kill whoever did this to you." I held their body tighter.

For multiple nights, the moon was gone, no guidance for me. "Y/N.. you're like the moon, you were the light that guided me and stayed by my side, but then.. You and your light disappeared.."
