It was just a normal day in Devildom, or so they thought.

The young human, Y/N, walked to their significant other's room, Satan. They sadly walked and walked, already recieving the reactions of the others about their deadly illness. They had kept it a secret for too long, so they are possibly gonna die anytime that day.

They knocked on the door and went inside, only to be greeted by a book flying towards their face. They dodged in time as their heart raced. "Good afternoon, love." Satan mumbled. "Can we talk for a bit?" The human fiddled with their fingers. "Sorry love, even if it's important I don't think we can." The demon sighed. "But-" The demon slammed his hands on his table. "Don't you understand?! I am too busy! Go annoy Mammon or Levi, just leave me alone!" He threw the human's favourite book to their chest as they landed butt-first on the floor.

The human teared up as they stood up and ran out of the room. "Y/N! Wait, I'm sorr-" The door slammed on his face, making his anger worse.

Y/N PoV;

I ran to my room, tears flowing down my face, holding the book that made my chest hurt physically and mentally. I bumped into someone as I looked up. "Y/N? Are you okay?" Lucifer offered his hand. "Why are you crying?" He escorted me to his office as I sat down in front of him. "I-it's just Satan.. he's just, mad.." I sobbed. He sighed as he shook his head. "I am so sorry for his behaviour Y/N. I recently scolded him for one of his foolish pranks and made him do a lot of RAD works, I will go discuss this with him." I nodded.

"Go fetch yourself a beverage or a snack. And do not do anything else, it might make your condition worse." I nodded again as I stood up and went to the kitchen. Mammon went beside me as he put his arm around my shoulder. "I was eavesdropping, I know it's rude. But bare with me, got that? Ya' know I just wanna spend time with ya'. So, lemme make ya' a snack!" He smiled at me.

"Mammon, thank you so much." I smiled at him. Feeling dizzy, I walked slower and slower, until I blacked out.

Lucifer PoV;

I went to Satan's room as I barged in. "What now?" He asked, glaring at me. "Has MC talked to you?" His glare slightly became less, I don't know how put it into words. "Leave them alone." I felt angered at his words. Not only is that he's their significant other, he's just saying that? "Satan. They have a serious illness. They tried to tell you about it today, earlier. They might die today!" I slammed my hand on the wall in anger. His eyes widened as he stood up. "No.." He tried to get past me until we heard a familiar voice scream.

"Y/N!!" We both dashed out of the room as we saw my brothers crowding MC, seeing Mammon hold them like that, they are already deceased. "Y/N.. No.." He tried going near. "Now you care?" Leviathan said coldly. "I can't believe you, Satan." Asmodeus shook his head while crying.

"Leave him be and let him go near them, we will discuss this matter later."

Satan PoV;

I went near Y/N's cold body as I held them in my arms. My grip on their body getting tighter and tighter. Crying, I said; "MC.. I'm sorry.. I am so so sorry.." I held them close to me.
