'Ace's POV'
I sighed at a weary tone, why does school keep coming to haunt me again! I really can't stand it anymore! I just wanna be at my dorm room and just do nothing but fucking SLEEP! But no, we had to go to school! As I walked to my locker, I saw the person I least wanna see, Professor Kuro. I was about to make a run for it, but he caught me by tugging me on the collar, "hold it right there, Mister Ace", his voice is giving shivers down my spine, and I hate it!
I slowly turned my head to the now pissed off teacher, "he~ey Professor Kuro, good morning!" I said as I smiled awkwardly.
I can clearly see the hint of annoyance in his face, and feeling it radiate just made me even more nervous, "lately you have been skipling my classes, and I doubt you were planning it again, were you?" He said with an evil deep tone, like, boy! THIS IS WHY I DON'T LIKE THIS FUCKER!! He's evil, EVILL I SAY!
"No I wasn't, I was just...", I trailed off while thinking of an excuse, "... going to the bathroom", '...really? The fucking bathroom?! God, why do I even try?'.
He kinda let go of me, but didn't move away from me. He adjusted his glasses and continued, "you are almost failing my class, Mister Ace. And you know what I do to students that are failing my class, do you?". Boy don't remind me about that, he fails them in front of the headmaster, and gets the taste of second hand embarrassment, no way in hell I'll experience that. "Judging from your expression, I can tell that you know...", he said, again, giving more chills down my spine, and I think it reached to my spinal cord, "... so I'll be assigning you a tutor for you to not fail my class, I am only giving this second chance with you so you better at least take this chance, got it?".
Wait... what did I just hear? Professor Kuro's... giving me a second chance?! That's a rare sight to see, but I might as well take this opportunity anyway, "t-thank you, Professor Kuro! I'll be eternally grateful for this", I thanked him while I bowed to him.
He walked past me before saying something else, "go to the teacher's lounge and wait for me there, I'll assign the tutor that will be tutoring you", and just walked away without saying another word.
As soon as I saw him out of my sight, I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding in, I thought about what he told me so I guess I'll go there right now. In 30 seconds I got to the lounge, I knocked on the door as I heard a 'come in' inside. I opened the door and slowly looked over inside, I saw a lot of teacher's just there inside mostly doing paperwork, drinking some freshly brewed coffee, and having the latest gossip. Typical.
"Oh hey there, Ace", I heard a voice coming from where the coffee was brewed, and that's where I saw Sir Dragon. Whoopie doo. He walked towards me with a coffee mug in hand, and just patted my head, like, so fucking casually, "what're you doing here anyway? You ain't a teacher".
After he finally was done patting my head, I replied "... well Professor Kuro wanted me to get a tutor for his class, since I kept skipping his classes, surprisingly he gave me a seclnd chance too".
"That is pretty rare of him, well it's good to see that grumpy cat going soft", he then chuckled a bit and began patting my back, with so much strength.
I quickly pushed his hand away and began to glare at this bastard, "dude, are you trying to kill me just now?". He just let out a proud laugh like he was doing this as a casual way we greet. The nerve of this guy. I kinda have something in my mind that I wanted to ask regarding of him, so I asked "hey, uh, about... you know who, is he okay?".
To what he replied, "oh he's alright actually, took him to a pharmacy and bought him an ibuprofen, and after that I treated him to some takoyaki and boba, nothing more to be honest...". He paused a bit as he took a sip from his coffee, after that he continued, "... it's glad to see that you still care for him after all these years, shows that you still have feelings for him, right?".
"W-wha?! Shut up!!", I protest while I can feel my cheeks getting a bit warm.
Then we both heard the door open, and revealed Professor Kuro on the other side, "ah, glad to see you actually came, Mister Ace", he again spoke with the same cold evil voice he has.
"Y-yep! I would never get to your bad side, Professor!", I stuttered a bit as a drop of sweat was slowly dripping down my forehead, and I can feel it. "So... who is my tutor for today?", I bluntly ask with no idea what I might get myself into.
"Ace? Is that you?", I heard a voice from behind Professor Kuro. I looked over to see Sabo, who is just staring me with those blue eyes of his, WHY! IS HE SO ADORABLE!! I even see Sir Dragon scooting himself away from us, like that is so him.
"Well then, Mister Ace, I guess you've already met Sabo here...", Professor Kuro said while he grabbed mine and Sabo's attention, "... so starting today, he will be your tutor. I already assigned him the lessons that you've miss during my classes, I hope there are no problems regarding this?".
'This evil son of a bitch, is it too late to go to juvie for killing this guy?', "Okay Professor Kuro..." it was all I have to say as he gestured us to leave the lounge. Like, for real tho, I wanna just give him a piece of what Fire Fist can do, but refrain yourself Ace, refrain.
"So, where do you wanna meet?" I heard Sabo asked, then continued "... maybe at the fountain?".
I mean, wouldn't it attract to much people, and those who know me as Fire Fist. No, can't make that risk. "... I don't know, like, why not the library then?", I suggested to him since the library is the best choice here. Not much people go there, so it would be all good.
"Oh, you know that's a great idea", Sabo's voice sparked a bit there, "we could go there at... let's say, lunch time?"
"Yeah, sounds like a solid plan", I agreed as I smiled at him with the biggest one I can muster.
"Okay then, I'll see you at lunch time then, Ace", it was the last thing he said befors I rushed to my classroom.
Like, wow! I can't believe it would be just me and him, at lunch time, alone in the library. This is so like coming from a telenovela, so awesome!!
A/N: Sorry if updates have been pretty slow, got so busy with lots and lots of projects regarding about school, but thank you all for your patience, and this part is done, let's move on to the next one ^v^
