„Hello?" Robin asks. Nancy is startled by her voice, but then answers: „Hi, uhm... you still wana go skating?" Nancy asks. Robin stays silent. She's in shock. She thougt Nancy hated her. „Hello? You still there?" Nancy breaks the silence. „Huh? Oh, yes, yeah, sorry! Uhm sure! When d'you wana go?" Robin finally replies. „Is tomorrow saturday okay?" Nancy says. „Yes perfect! See you, for real this time!" Robin says. Nancy chuckles, but it's a sad chuckle. „Yes, see you. For real." Then she hangs up. She's going to tell Robin. Other wise she will literally die of the stress.
Saturday
Nancy is freaking out about how to dress. It's not officialy a date but still, she wants to look good. She puts on her make up, stiles her hair in two pigtales and wears a blue shirt with jeans shorts. She grabs her money, keys and is out the door. Her and Robin agreed that they'll meet at the rink. When she arrives, she spots Robin waiting. She is so nervous to do this, but she wants to. „Hey!" Greets Nancy Robin. „Hi" Robin responds. 'You can do this' Nancy tells herself.
After buying rollerskates and food (french fries,Pizza and Milkshakes) They sit at the table and eat. After finishing eating, they put on the rollerskates and go to the rink. They skate for a while. And Nancy's lost in the moment. Robin is so fucking beautiful. Her hair, her eyes. Just everything. Nancy realises that she never felt this way about boys. She knows she had crushes on them, but never like this. Like she just could be with Robin forever and she would be happy. She didn't feel this way about Steve or Johnathan or any Boy crushes she had. She stares at Robin for a good long while. When Robin catches her. „Nancy, what are you doing?" Robin says with a nervous laugh. „Uhm... I" Nancy dosen't know how to explain this. Mabey now? No. Not on the rink. Later when they're siting at the table again. Robin seems to just wanting to ignore the situation and keeps on skating.
After skating for a while Robin says: „Wana get some ice cream?" „Yeah." Nancy says. So they go of the rink and get some soft ice cream. They sit at the table again and talk. Suddenly Robin brings up something:
„So, do you support gay people?"
„Yes? That is very odd question!" Nancy laughs.
„Yeah, just checking. Because..."
„Because what?"
„Because ›I'm‹ gay."
Oh. Nancy dosen't say anything. So Robin could like her.
„Well, I support you. Actully... I uhm," Nancy dosen't know how to put it. „I uhm, like Girls too? I mean I'm not sure what my sexualty is, if there is something else then gay, but yeah, not straight." Nancy laughs nervously. Robins eyes look like there gona pop out„Wow, uhm", Robin runs a hand through her hair. „Well, uh thanks for telling me. I did not expect that." She starts laughing. Nancy laughs too. And then they sit there laughing. Together. They then finish their Ice cream. „Well, I'm going home." Robin says. „Yeah, me too. It was nice! We should hang out more often!" Nancy says. Robin thinks to the time Nancy said she went through something. Is she supposed to point out the elephant in the room? Better not. „Yeah. So, bye. I'll call you!" Robin says. „Yes, bye!" Nancy responds. And then they go.
Robin asked Steve to drive her, so now he's standing in the parking lot and waiting for Robin. She opens the door and sits down. „Hey, how'd the date go?" He asks, in a teasing way. Robin looks at him. „We both know it wasn't a date!" Robin anoyed says. „So you didn't tell her?" Steve asks. „No, but.." Robin begins. „But...?" Steve questions. „But I told her I'm gay." She says. „Oh that's good!" What did she say?" Steve asks. „Well uhm, she supports me, and... and she told me she's not straight." Robin replies. Steve looks at her. Then he grins. „I knew it. What's her sexualty?"
„She dosen't know yet."
„Well now you know, that at least, she won't out you!"
„Yeah."
Then Steve starts driving.Notes:
