Robin is home now. And despite it being a dumb thought, Robin thinks she might have a chance. Just maybe. She dosen't want to give Nancy the poem just yet. But, she had hope. Robin knew that Nancy thougt she didn't notice her staring. But Robin did notice. The way Nancy was looking at her, it was the same way she'd been looking at Robin at 'Scoops Ahoy' exept now, it was clearly a dreamy expression. 'You wouldn't look at a friend like that' ,Robin thinks to herself. Which is true, but she dosen't want to get her hopes up too high.

Robin needs reassurance. So she calls Steve.
„Hello?"
„Hi, Steve, so you know how Nancy told me that she might not be straight today?"
„Yes? Why?"
„Well thinkig about it, she stared at me the whole time! With a look that defenetly wasn't platonic!"
„Ok, but?"
„But, what if I'm just imagining it?! What if I'm getting my hopes up, just to be heartbroken again?"
„Well you can never be to 100% sure if she likes you, exept tell her. It's not like anything bad will happend. You know she won't out you and she dosen't think you're disgusting. But, if you want, I can come along for a date once. I can observe the whole situation with a clear mind. It's hard to tell when feelings are involved."
„Yes, Steve! Omg you're a genius! But I got to meet up with Nancy first. Also stop calling it 'dates'. There not officialy yet!"
„Alright, well tell me when you meet up. I am free next weekend. Friday to sunday. See you, bye." And with that Steve hangs up.

Robin calls Nancy and they agree to go bowling on saturday. Then she calls Steve and tells him.

Next weekend
Robin is outside and waits for Steve to pick her up. She already told Nancy it was going to be the three of them. When they arrive Nancy's standing in front of the building. „Hi" Nancy greets as soon as she spots them. But her eyes are locked on Robin. And Steve notices. But Robin dosen't. They enter and take a lane. And start playing. But Nancy's whole focus is on Robin causing her to loose. But Robin dosen't win either, while being a bit more focused on the game, Robin was still a little distracted. So Steve wins.

„Yes, Baby!" Steve exclaims. „No fair." Robin whines. „Oh, guess was a little distracted." Nancy snaps out of the trance she'd been in. „You okay?" Robin asks, putting a hand on Nancy's shoulder. The mere contact of Robin's hand anywhere near Nancy made Nancy shiver. She can feel herself freaking out. 'holy shit, holy shit, holy shit!' Nancy can't even form a whole sentence. She stares in Robins eyes. And then her look drops down to Robins lips. 'stop staring at her lips, stop thinkig about it. I'm going to die!' Robin steps a little closer. „Nance?" Robin did notice Nancy staring at her lips, but wanted to ignore it, for Nancy's and her own sake.

Nancy's brain starts working again and she says: „Uh-uhm yeah! I-I'm fine!" 'God Nancy, seriously?' she steps away a little. „You sure? You don't ›seem‹ fine." Robin asks. „Mh, yes just- uh..." Nancy can't think of an excuse. „I think I just have low bloodsugar. Can we go eat some where?" Nancy tries to get Robin to stop being so close to her.

„Sure, we can go get milkshakes!" Robin says. „Fine by me." Steve speaks up again. He observed the whole situation. God they were pining for eachother!

They get milkshakes together and Steve just sees Nancy and Robin glancing over at echother. He rolls his eyes. 'Just fucking give her the poem!' He wants to scream at Robin. But he obviously dosen't. 'This is actully sooo frustrating! Just fucking say it!' Steve thinks he will explode, to the point were he regrets coming along.

But Nancy and Robin are freaking out. They both feel like they can't breath. Robin's crushes can be intense, but they never were ›that‹ intense. What was she supposed to do. At this point she dosen't think that she can do this any longer. Even if she gets rejected, she wants Nancy to know. But not today. She first wants to ask Steve.

After
„So what do you think?" Asks Robin. „I swear to god Robin, fucking tell her! You two are pining for eachother, it's ›painful‹ to watch!" Steve answers. Robin laughs. „It's not ›that‹ bad!" Robin says.
„It is! Just give her the poem! God I wanted to scream! Didn't you notice Nancy staring at your lips? Jesus Christ!"
„Wait, Nancy stared at my lips?"
„She stared at you the whole time! It was like she wasn't even there!"
„Ok wow, uhm. I'll give her the poem?"
„Yes! Thank god!" Robin just looks at him with look that says: 'shut the fuck up!' Steve understands and changes the subjekt.
