The rain continued to pour down on the jungle while Katiya stood on the highest branch of a tree, surveying her surroundings.

As of now, she had only obtained two rags from a boy and girl she encountered earlier.

It had been some time now since the competition began. Katiya could hear shouts and hisses from a distance as people fought for their rags.

While searching for her brothers, she traveled from branch to branch, keeping her distance from the other competitors.

Katiya's ears perked up when she heard footsteps running beneath her. In the bushes, a Metkayina girl emerged, running away from something.

As she glanced behind her frantically, the young girl tripped on a tree root and fell over.

It was then that Nayim, Aonung's cousin, emerged from the bushes. She was accompanied by her friend, whom Katiya had seen during their encounter with Kiri.

Immediately, Katiya knew that the two of them were working together against the other girl.

"You should just give up now and hand me your rag, Meyta," Nayim said as she turned to her friend with a devious grin. "Right, Sakwan?"

"That is right. You are outnumbered, Meyta," Sakwan snickered as she handed two rags to Nayim.

In hindsight, Katiya realized that Nayim's friend had helped her collect rags.

"This is not fair! You cannot team up. It is going against the rules and that is cheating," Meyta said, standing up.

"Blah, blah, blah," Nayim said as she rolled her eyes. "And what will you do about it? No one will believe you anyway. Now, hand over your rag."

In anger, Meyta hissed at her.

"In your dreams, cheaters!"

In a fit of rage, Nayim shoved Meyta to the ground, and they grappled. With her strength, Meyta let out a cry of fury as she flipped Nayim onto her back and hovered above her.

However, while Meyta was distracted, Sakwan snuck up and pulled on her tail.

Observing the scene, Katiya squatted in silence as the fight unfolded beneath her. In deliberation, she pondered whether to intervene or continue on her way.

When Meyta didn't budge, Sakwan struck her tail against Meyta's face to get her off Nayim.

"Ow!" Meyta cried in pain.

"Ugh," Katiya groaned, standing up.

She felt pity for Meyta and plus, Nayim was getting on her nerves anyway.

So Katiya jumped down from branch to branch, and as she landed, she grabbed Sakwan's queue and yanked the girl backward.

"Ow!" Sakwan exclaimed, falling on her ass.

As Nayim attempted to steal the rag tied around Meyta's bicep, she climbed on top of her. During their wrestling match, they paused to see who had interfered.

Nayim turned back to look but was kicked in the face, forcing her off Meyta. As soon as she saw Katiya, Meyta sat up with wide eyes.

"Y-You're Toruk Makto's daughter..." Meyta said, shocked.

"Waaa!" Nayim cried, sitting up with a hand over her nose. "You gave me a nosebleed!"

"Don't worry, I gave your annoying cousin one too," Katiya snickered.

"You bitch!" Sakwan yelled, trying to tackle Katiya from behind, only to be punched in the face.

In pain, Sakwan fell to the ground, landing on her ass while Meyta got up, staggered by Katiya's actions.
