Chapter 45: Save us, Swordsmans!
At the Team Flare's base
Sanpei and Ryan are snooping around the base, sneakily as possible so they won't be caught as false members and trespassing restricted area for lower ranking members. It's when Ryan continues further, but Sanpei puts his hand on his shoulder
"What?"
He points at the door to see it's slightly open, revealing a bright red light coming from it
They went over and take a sneak peek into the slightly opened door. There, they see not only members of Team Flare, but their leader as well, Lysandre
"What do you think they're doing?" Ryan whispered
"I don't know..."
The red light was coming from the Omniforce Ride Book in the shape of a red beam hitting something they couldn't make out to be
"Zygarde, show me your power. Do it, now," Lysandre demanded
"Zygarde? Who's that?" Sanpei asked
"Something tells me... This place is about to explode," Ryan said
Before then, an explosion happened. Which made them back up from all the dust
"What happened?!" Ryan asked
"We need to alert the others, quick!" Sanpei suggested
Outside
A red dot appears and lands on the Lumiouse Tower. With Lysandre following it, seeing it has been successful
"The curtain's up. And the spotlight on my greatest work of all!" Lysandre said being proud it was successful
The red dot, is actually a small Zygarde. It takes on a smaller size. Who then radiates green energy to call out more cells to gather. With all the cells that's gathered, it's powering it
With the others
Alain and Diane arrived at Ryan and Sanpei's location
"What happened?!" Alain asked
"Their plan has already in motion!" Sanpei replied
"What?!"
They look at the door to see a large hole outside. Not only that, but they can see a sprouted red and black roots coming from the ground and rises up
"What the?!"
"This must be the Zygarde they're talking about," Sanpei said
Outside
The red and black roots are appearing from the ground and in Lumiouse City's ground, making the people around starts to panic and running away. Unfortunately, couple of people who accidentally tripped, they look back at the root that's coming closer to them
As it was coming closer, someone then comes in and cuts away the roots from approaching them. This figure is Buster, who came and saves them
"Run while you still can!" Buster told them
They nodded and got up to run for their lives. He looks back at the roots, still multiplying
"This is going to be a long day..." He said
