Chapter 44.5: Who wins, shall be victorious!
We skipped through several battles, up until the finals, or the final two trainers up against each other. And those trainers are Victor and Ash
Now with Victor, the night before the final battle he's going to face. He's with the others as they discussed about the final battle he's going to have. Right as of now, they're in the league's lobby, around the table
"Well, today I hadn't gotten a good rest from battling one trainer to another. I'm so tired..." Victor said being drained out of energy after all of the battles
"Gee, I realised how lucky I was battling one trainer back then. I forgot that there's more trainers in these leagues, than what I had," Gloria said
"That's why I was envious! You got lucky you went first of all people! It would result the same thing if I went in. It just..." He replied
"Now now, that's a long time ago. It's been like... How long has it been since we left our home?" Hop asked
"Around 6 months, if we're talking right now," Ryugh responded
"6 months!? Wow, I'd thought it would be less than that. Thought it would be... A year or more of something. Crazy how time flies so fast," he said
"With the constant fights in other days, along with normal days in between. Of course it would felt short," Rena said
"You're joking, it hasn't been a year yet?" Victor asked
"You can stay here for longer if you want to, I won't stop you with that," Ryugh replied
"Yeah, but... This is my home. And... I feel like there's more to explore this place, than it should right now. Sure as much as I miss Galar, I also would miss this world's Kalos," he said
"Pick which decision benefit you the most, each of them has their downsides. So choose wisely if you want to live with your friends, or want to live in this world where you belong," he asked
"I don't know... I want to go with them, but I want to live here..." Victor said
"There can only be one choice, pick one," Ryugh said
"Why not just... Both?" He asked
"You can't stay in both worlds at the same time, only one world at a time," Rena responded
"That's a difficult decision... I can't pick any! Unless..." Victor replied
"No, there is no unless," Ryugh said
"Then what's your advice for me?" He asked
"Simple, this is like being given a choice of living in your childhood hometown or living in a different place but with your best friends," he replied
"That doesn't help at all... Couldn't I just hop to this world and go back to that world?" Victor asked
"Huh? Did somebody say anything?" Hop asked while being distracted with using his phone
