Intro

Hi, my name is Elena Jane Black and I am twenty-two. I live in a world of soulmates. Everyone when there turn eleven receives and soulmate mark that goes to their mate. Many people have more than one mate two or three are very common. One thing that I hate about my life is that I have seven soulmates yea that is a lot right? I am terrified about it. There are two different types of soulmates. The first are the ones that are just all soulmates like my friends TJ, Jamie, and Kaite. All three of them are mated to each other. I have the other type where seven people are mated to me but only me and not each other.

I am scared to meet my soul mates because I am scared of rejection. I also was told my entire life that I was a useless whore for having so many mates. I have tried my best to forget about my past and not let it get to me but I can only keep it out for so long.

I am honestly glad that I meet Jamie and TJ they saved me when I was caught on a mission a few years back. They were both working as hired guards and assassins. We became quick friends and had no trouble geting along. I was glad to have them and they felt the same way. They were both mates looking for their third mate.

Looking at my mates you are probably thinking what the hell is wrong with you how do you not know who your mates are? Yea ok, I have a pretty good idea who they are but I do not want to find my mates I know that is selfish but I am not a good person and I do not want to ruin their lives because of my job and problems.

My friends all tell me that I should not try to hide because my mates are waiting for me and they will make me happy. But I will not destroy them because of my past I can so I will stay away and not go out to find them. That was my plan until one day that changed everything.
