The Avengers Assassin Mate

Eleana POV

When we got back to the tower the girls were ready and after bringing in the stuff from the store Faith, Coco, and I headed out to the park. Fury had needed the rest of the Avengers for a meeting but Peter had told us that he would come to meet us because he had something he had to do in the morning but was free now.

We got to the park and both the girls ran off to play while I went over and sat on the swings. I was watching the girls play and was happy that they had this. I knew Coco was like me and did not have much of a childhood. She was brought to Hydra when I was 12 and she was four.

I had practically raised her and Hydra was not the best place to be raised in. I had always wished she could have a better place to grow up. I was knocked out of my thoughts as I felt two arms wrap around me and the feeling of extreme safety came over me.

"Peter you know you should not try and sneak up on an ex-assassin I could have hurt you by accident" I whispered to him as he walked in front of me and smiled.

"I know but you are just so cute when you are deep in thought I could not resist," He said and I smiled peking him on the lips.

"Would you like me to push you on the swing princess?" He asked and I smiled kissing him again and then nodding. He smiled and went behind me pushing the swing so it started to move.

As I smiled laughing softly as I swung I heard Faith scream. I jumped off the swing and ran to where I heard it as Peter followed me. All of my mates had become very protective of the girls. As I made it over to where the girls were I saw a man with a gun to Coco's head as Faith was on the ground with blood on her forehead.

"Peter call it in" I whispered to him as I looked at him. He nodded and walked away so he could call it in but stayed where he could still see me.

"Sir can you please put the gun down there is no reason for you to target a child" I spoke softly trying not to cause him to get mad. He looked at me with pure hate in his eyes.

"Yes I do Echo I have every right she is someone you hold dearly. You thought you could just leave. The dark web does not let people like you just leave and have nothing happen to you or those you hold dear" I looked at him wide-eyed. I then heard a gun shoot and my eyes widened as I ran over to Coco and pulled her away from the man who was now dead on the floor.

I looked her over and saw she only had a few bruises but nothing serious. I then looked over behind where the man was and saw TJ standing there with a gun in her hand. She smiled at me and then went over to make sure that Faith was okay.

After a minute Peter came over and picked up Faith while I grabbed Coco and we headed to the hospital. After the girls were checked out and turned out to be okay, I asked Peter to stay with them because there was something that I needed to do.

I knew who that man worked for and I was going to make sure that he left me and my family alone. I was ready to kill whoever I needed they would know not to mess with me or my family ever again.
