The Avengers Assassin Mate

Part One

I looked down at the dead man on the ground and smiled. One more job well done is when I heard the alarm on the ceiling go off. Shit. I quickly pulled my daggers out of the dead man wiping them on his shirt and sheathing them back at my thighs.

I looked out the window and decided that was my best option. I quickly jumped through the window shattering it and set my glider out going to a nearby roof and landing while running off toward my bike which I had parked three blocks over.

I got on my bike and sped off toward my apartment. When I arrived I jumped in the shower and then put on my night clothes and collapsed into my bed. I smiled to myself while falling asleep.

I woke up the next morning to my alarm going off. I quickly turned it off and got up took a shower and geting dressed for the day. Just as I slid on my second thigh-high black boot I heard a knock on the door. I smiled walking over and answering it only for my friend to push me inside and lock the door behind her.

"What happened and where is TJ," I asked because Jamie was never been this panicked over anything. She was always so calm and collected.

"She is coming we found her El we found her," She said all the nervousness was gone and only excitement remained. I smiled happily at them. I was so happy for them but then I realized that she said she was bringing her here. Now I am going, to be honest, my apartment looks normal on the outside looking in but when you go inside there are some secrets that I did not need anyone normal seeing.

"Does she know anything about us or not because bringing her here may not be the best idea" I said as Jamie smiled at me.

"Yes, actually she does she is someone that we found at one of our jobs. She was trying to stop us from killing our target because she was hired as his guard but then we were all soulmates and she smiled and helped us" I smiled very happy for them but then saw the time.

"I got to go I will see you all for dinner. I did not even notice the time I have to go to work. Bye," I quickly kissed her on the cheek and grabbed my bag running out the door down and down the stairs to get there on time.

I ran off to the orphanage where I worked at any time that I could. I had ended up here when I was little and I knew the owner. She was a lady in her late sixties and she knew about me and what I do and what I have gone through. She was the closest thing that I had to a parent and I love her for all she has done for me. I felt both of my shoulder marks start to tingle a little showing that two of my mates were nearby.

"Crap they never come to this side of the city I thought that they would leave it be. I am already late I don't have time for this." I said to myself as I ran through the streets trying to get to the orphanage. Just then I ran into two men and my shoulder marks started to burn as I fell on my butt.

I looked up to see two men that I recognized in front the news it was captain America and the winter soldier. Shit they were my soulmates. They both seemed too stunned to say anything which gave me enough time to jump up and run past them making it to the orphanage without running into anyone else.

"Well, Ellie is finally here huh? What happened why are you breathing so fast." Luna said smiling at me as she looked at me panting and trying to catch my breath while leaning against the door.

"I just literally ran into two of my mates and they almost saw me," I said and she just sighed. She knew that I did not want to do anything with my mates so that they would not get hurt and she was very sad about it but never said anything.

"I just want you to be happy dear. Could you get a bottle Jenny needs to be fed again" she said and I smiled nodding and going into the kitchen to get ready to feed Jenny the youngest here at the orphanage.

With the Avengers

Steve and Bucky had just got back after their morning run and a close run-in with their soul mate. They came into the living room and everyone was arguing over something. Steve tried to get everyone's attention to tell them but they did not listen.

"Hey listen we have something important to say!" Bucky yelled and everyone shut up and looked at him and Steve.

"What the hell do you want old men," Tony said. Steve rolled his eyes and sat down on the couch next to Bucky.

"We saw her today our mate she ran into us on the street but she ran away before we could get to her," Steve said and everyone jumped up asking questions.

"Where let's go and look around maybe we can still find her if we look," Tony said and they all agreed running out to where Steve and Bucky had seen their mate to see if they could find her again.
