I kept looking at the clock. It was 6:03. Right now Shuichi's on his date with Kaede. I need to stop thinking about it, he's probably laughing and having fun with her. I wish he was laughing and having fun with me. But Shuichi deserves a nice girl like Kaede. I think maybe I was naive to think that there was a chance he could like me to.
Waiting for Shuichi to knock on the door and come in, staring at the clock was miserable. 6:30, 7:15, 7:48, 8:02, 8:47, 9:17, knock. I opened the door so quickly it was kind of pathetic. I was smiling waiting to hear all about his date, but when I opened the door my smile quickly turned into a frown.
"Why do you look so damn disappointed to see me at your door?" it was miu and she walked in without asking.
"I was expecting someone else," I shut the door behind her.
"One of your twink boyfriends?" Miu laughed and sat down on my couch.
"Shuichi," I replied and sat next to her.
"So yes."
"No," I sighed "he's on a date with Kaede right now and he said he'd come over after."
"so that's why you look like that, gay-bo," she teased "I totally get it Kaedes really hot, there probably kissing right now," Miu took the TV remote and started to clicking through channels
"don't say that, and don't call my a 'gay-bo',"
"But you are a gay-bo, gay-bo and be happy I didn't call you a slur," miu made a kissy face at me "anyway you want to watch a movie?"
"really shouldn't, Shuichi should be here soon," I relaxed back into the couch
"Babes, he's probably not coming,either he forgot or he's having a great time right now," Miu kicked me in the arm with her foot as she laid-back on my couch.
"I really don't want to think of that,"
"So what movie we watching?" Miu switch to Netflix
"Miu, seriously."
"my God if you really want me to leave that badly I will," she was annoyed
I sighed "no, no it's fine, we can watch a movie. pick whatever you want I doubt Shuichi's coming now,"
(I love Miu tbh shes silly, sorry if some of the punctuation isn't right I don't pay much attention in language arts, shout out to my ela teacher though I wrote more in one night than I've ever written for her class <3)
