Be with me ~ an amasi fic ~

*awkwardly laughs*

Miu left at like 1:42am and I fell asleep right away after. I'm pretty happy she came over actually, I would just be gloomy if she wasn't there. But i was happy to wake up to a text from shuichi

"sorry i didn't come last night, it was late when me and Kaede finished our date and I didnt want to bother you, we can meet later for brunch if you'd like,"

"Usual spot 11:00?" I replied and watch the dots pop up as he typed

*bing* "of course, see you then" i smiled at the the text

    I got to the cafe to see Shuichi sitting at are booth in the corner, sipping black coffee as always. He looked up and waved at me as I walked over and sat down

"So did you have a good time?" I asked

"Yeah i think I did" Shuichi looked out the window

"You think?" I questioned and he nodded

"I didn't have anything to compare it to, so i'm not sure." he took another sip of his coffee "It was like hanging out with you but with a romantic touch, and I'm pretty sure Kaede was flirting with me"

"Like I don't already flirt with you," I laughed and Shuichi blushed a little then laughed to

"Well," Shuichi smiled, "she kissed me at the end of the date," I forced a happy look on my face with shame.

"Was it a good kiss?" It was the only question I could think of.

He looked away embarrassed "I don't know," he shrugged "I had nothing to compare it to," Shuichi just drank his coffee to avoid eye contact

"I would kiss you," I said under my breath and looked away,Shuichi looked up
        "Hum? Did you say something?" he questioned

"No i didn't say anything, nothing important at least," l shrugged and Shuichi smiled

    We sat and chatted for a while and ordered some food. Well eating my scone I thought of kissing Shuichi, and thought of how I wish I was Kaede so I could go on dates with him. Liking your best friend is terrible. I feel terrible.

(I moved a bit fast on that one but it's 12:59 and the caffeine is starting to wear off so yeah. live laugh love ig)
