If there's one thing both Mavis and the rest of her friends knew about her town, it was the breeding ground for anything and everything to go wrong at any moment. The worst part? It was always someone closest to you. The town would sometimes be called Murder Capital, Woodsboro because of all the brutalized murders that happened around it. The town wasn't always like this, but of course that was before Billy and Stu went on their murderous rampage of sorts.

No one who has ever been in Woodboro has moved. Low on income cause your job ain't paying right? Welcome to killer city. Hope you're ready to potentially witness or get gutted by someone you thought you knew oh so well or loved so dearly. Moving to a town with a death rate higher than your own life expectancy should really come with a terms and conditions. But who can blame them, they sign their lives away to a psycho in a white mask, probably without ever knowing who the killer was. Their own kids never even had a say in the matter.

Their were different types of crowds in Woodsboro, they ignored the signs of any potential killers trying to go on about their semi- normal lives. Even though they would ignore the signs, deep down everyone was scared. Scared they could be next. Everyone thought if they stayed far enough away from any or anything that had any type of connection to the original killings, they'd be safe, but oh boy were they wrong. Dead wrong.

Each and every killer has a motive for committing crimes like murder and homicide in the town of Woodboro. While some killers do it for the fame and others do it for revenge, the newer generation that would come after wanted nothing like the killers that came before. These killers wanted nothing more than to make a newer, better Stab movie. Yea when you've seen one too many horror movies, you think you can take a stab at making your own. They've even made it a goal to get the stars of their own movie. Sam Carpenter, Sidney Prescott, the final girl was the center of it all in their movie. It was going to be a blood bath.

Tara Carpenter was somewhat a last minute casting to their slasher movie, but a fun one. The first 'kill'. A warning to those who thought that the boogieman known as Ghostface had came back from the grave and was ready to show the that he wasn't done with them yet. The Meeks-Martin twins, Wes, and Liv were all pawns in the twisted game that Ghostface had in mind.

Mavis played a much more bigger role than any of them had expected. But being the daughter of the master manipulator, would you really expect any less? She was ruining their plans and they hated it. No one could control Mavis Henderson and it was ruining everything. Mavis was never one to 'follow the rules', she was a loose cannon just like her mother. The killers expected as much, but never like this.

Mavis never listened to anyone's rules, not her mother's, her aunt's and most certainly not the rules of a psycho in a halloween mask. Being the daughter of the original manipulator to influence the original killers, gave her some type of upper hand. Her father, being the director he was, did anyone really think he wouldn't leave something behind for his potential heir to find some day? The man was a director, he needed to leave some type of legacy for them.
