i woke up on tuesday around 9:00 am, and grabbed my phone off of my nightstand. i rubbed my eyes as i saw a text from walker to make sure i wasn't seeing things.

hey y/n! its walker, meet me at the local
diner at 1:00?

hey walker! that sounds great, see you at 1!

as much as i didn't want momona's commentary and craziness, i knew i had to call her if i don't want to make a complete fool of myself when hanging out with walker, so i called her to come over. not even 10 minutes later, she barged through my door greeting my mom and running up to my room as if it's her house, even though it pretty much is at this point.

"ok, spill everything." momona said taking her curling iron out of her bag.

"to be honest, there's nothing to tell. i don't even know if this is meant to be a date! i will never ask you about boys again, but please can you tell me what to do?" i said panicking.

"um, yes!" she said without hesitation and sat me down as she plugged in her curling iron and began doing my hair while i did my makeup. "well first off, do you think he likes you? has he shown any signals?"

"no, not besides asking me to hang out." i said and momona showed a slight disappointment in her face. we were silent until her phone buzzed.

"speak of the devil!" she said, unlocking her phone to see the message.

momona's pov

i turned off the curling iron and placed it on y/n's vanity and i grabbed my phone and responded to walker's message and kept texting him.

i smirked and put my phone down and continued with doing y/n's hair.

"well? what did he say?" she said eagerly.

"he wanted to know what you thought about himmmm" i said in a sing-songey voice while giggling at her trying to hide the fact that she was blushing. "you are adorable" i said to her while i finished brushing out her curls.
